Enjoy. Now just enable the drive modes in Forscan and get the TM button, everything else can be done aftermarket better :)

You can fit a lot of

ok pop open a Utica Club (beer of love) to celebrate , 1st beer sold legally at Prohibition End , some how I survived drinking warm UC on a camping trip decades back.

Utica Club is my beer of choice. Nothing tastes better than a fresh beer after taking the tour.

I went without the rear locker. I’ve had many 4 wheel drive trucks. I think I’ve used 4 lo only once or twice to get unstuck and that was in deep snow. I‘ll be fine without it.

I had a locker on my f150 and the only time I really used it is when i was just playing around. Are they nice to have? Absolutely. Are they necessary in most situations. Not at all. I've had my ranger with only 1 back tire on the ground and still had no problem. I did add terrain management which has been nice and a cheap add on

When I was young I had all of the time in the world.... and no money!
Now that I am (much) older I have no time to waste, and lots of money.
So I use it to not waste time....

I use the locker in the Vermont winters all the time. Gets me out of all sorts of situations in the hilly terrain. I grew up in Utica (proctor blvd!), and its not quite as hilly as southern Vermont, so I'd imagine that just regular 4WD would be fine in most situations.

I searched for a Ranger with locker, rear window defroster, and heated seats, and I only had a choice of FX4s, so I got one. But the shocks suck and I need to change them.

Looking at two 2021 XLT’s. Same color, one is an FX4, the other is anXLT with locking differential and remote start. I don’t really off road but sometimes the snow gets pretty bad around here. There’s also an XLT 4 x4 with no locker. I’ve never had the locking differential on any of my other trucks. Is it really worth having?
Get it. It's 100% worth it.

Funny, I live like 40 minutes away from Utica, NY and have never had a Utica Club beer.
I rate in the same group as Iron City (pittsburgh) or Simon Pure (buffalo, ny) . You may live longer as a consequence of your abstinence . Heard from some NY staters though that Matt brewing makes some decent craft beers - Saranac . I found it interesting that living in Denver some yrs back Rolling Rock was sold as a premium beer there.

I remember when Utica club was an "old man's beer". Now it's cool.

Selectable Locker next best thing to having 4WD. On when you need it, off for otherwise. Had that setup on other 2WD trucks and loved it. Great in the dirt and sand, definitely off on ice or towing. Option is inexpensive compared to the aftermarket.
