This stuff all comes from the same refineries. Am I to believe the kid who works at Costco or whatever is adding a special blend of herbs and spices to the below ground tank when the fuel truck shows up?

sorry about reading it wrong. But when I was in PA I had 2wd trucks with limited slip. on the crowned roads in the snow they would crab or slide sideways trying to go straight. That would be a problem with locker also (If your spinning).
I have also pulled off the road and been stuck with 4wd with one front and one rear spinning, locker would have helped here. Plus I like to take the truck off road in the deep sugar sand of the Outer banks, locker is a plus here. So the advantage with the locker is you can turn it on and off as needed.
Some times I have used my rangers locker on boat ramps, other times I have just put it in 4wd.
but since I had to special order my truck, I was given the option and I added the locker.

Even though gasoline comes from the same refineries and from the same distribution center each brand has its secret recipe for additives that are added to the tanker truck when it is being filled.

To be classified as a Top Tier gasoline it must contain more detergent additives than the government mandated minimum.

Get an FX4. It’s worth it for the driving modes and crawl control. I haven’t regretted it one bit.

Same here don’t regret getting FX4. The only thing is the skid plates aren’t really that thick probably an 1/16 maybe an 1/8 max. I’m going to upgrade to ARB
