Please explain why you should use a locker in 4 Low. As for a strait line it really depends on the conditions you are in. Maybe the conditions OffRoad require the Locker on while in a turn.
"Please explain why you should use a locker in 4 Low." For travel over low traction surface, rubble, mud, steep bumpy incline. Anywhere wheel spin will stall your forward motion.

I get where you are going but even then in 4 High you can still use a locker on a as needed basis. Depending on conditions(and vehicle) will depend if 4 Low is truly needed or not. There were plenty of condifions I ran into with my Rangsr that a locker would do the trick and 4 Low wasnt going to help one bit. Just something to keep in mind.

Diff lock will stress the diff when cornering on hi traction surface, outside tire travels farther than inside tire. Maybe truck smart enough to turn it off in cornering on dry pavement?
I think the OP watched Apollo 13 one time to many. "Ground Control -All systems GO -We have LIFTOFF!!!". OP probably mashed one button too many before driving away.....
