  1. Video Showing Trail Control In Tremor

Lol, yes, same here the first time I used it. It was definitely tilted to some degree, not on purpose, but because it was the only rock I could find to lean my phone on lol.
  2. Video Showing Trail Control In Tremor

Yeah, agreed, it's sort of a novelty feature, not very necessary but cool nonetheless.
  3. Why Is The Mileage So Bad On The Tremor?

I get 15MPG on average lol.
  4. Video Showing Trail Control In Tremor

Hey, I made a short video illustrating trail control. I've been using it in more difficult sections for my skill level, just to see if it's more capable than I am... I found out it almost certainly is. I don't turn on Trail Control until I notice I'm having a difficult time about 41 seconds in...
  5. Love this truck

Hah! Wondering if someone would notice. I'm new here but it's such a great town, not too small but too big. Surprised more people don't live out here.... knock on wood.
  6. Love this truck

Another day as a noobie trying to test the limits.
  7. FX4 or Locking differential

Get it. It's 100% worth it.
  8. School me on window tint.

If you do any offroading at night, avoid a tint... in my opinion. You won't be able to see essentially anything out of them if the windows are even lightly tinted.
  9. Spent New Year Day Up In The Sierra Nevadas

Fun snow day up in the mountains close to Sequoia.
  10. Just Got A Tremor - Really impressed So Far

Thanks! And yeah, I agree. I love Japanese engineering, and how slow they evolve in order to stay close to perfection... but the common end result is ultimately something boring. This Ranger is something special (as someone new to truck off-roading, I'm dumbfounded on how well it performs with...
  11. California 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 SCrew, Fox, 35's

This is worth the asking price. or even more for the right person... someone is saving a bunch if they pick it up.
  12. Advance Trac/Hill Start/ Pre-Collision Failures While Off-Road

Similar situation the other day, failed going up a long sandy, steep hill twice, then just hauled up going probably too fast the next time, praying there wasn't a drop off/cliff on the other side after making it up.
  13. The Ranger Tremor Offers Off-Road Fun, But Other Trucks Do It Better

Eh, the Ranger w/ Tremor package (or FX4 with some suspension mods) is probably the best truck in the class. Reliability is there, exterior design aesthetic is on point, rear locker is sufficient for 98% of situations (and a front locker can be placed for 2 grand w/ installation, I think, from...
  14. Just Got A Tremor - Really impressed So Far

Thanks! It's by far the only car/truck I've ever purchased without having any buyer's remorse afterwards. But yeah, it's actually Carbonized Grey. Initially wanted the Cactus Gray, which most seem to really like too, but I stumbled upon this specific truck on Autotrader in used condition, which...
  15. Just Got A Tremor - Really impressed So Far

Finally went out and got a Ranger w/ the Tremor package, after debating between the Ranger and a ZR2. The ZR2 may be slightly better off-road from the factory, but I just didn't want to risk the questionable reliability in that V6 engine. The Ecoboost seems to be quite reliable, and I think it's...
  16. Help identifying this light bar!

At least they do free S+H at 399 plus.
  17. Help identifying this light bar!

I have no understanding of manufacturing these misc metal parts. But I'm curious why nobody has made more affordable metal parts (roof rack, bed rack, light bar, rack, etc.) It appears that these parts could be cheap-ish to make, while pricing them low, and still making decent margins. A metal...
  18. Help identifying this light bar!

How much was the bar before the price bump? I was about to buy it but now...
