sorry, I was outside getting ready to wash my truck in preparation for the snow so I couldn't be any help.https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/led-lights-and-blinker-speed.23798/
I found the above thread that shows how. I’ll give this a shot.
How did you disable the double honk when you get out, and god forbid, they keys are in your pocket. Really dislike that, way too loud and unnecessary! Is there a setting hopefully?I'm not sure which parameter disables/enables the honk on locking a second time with the fob, but it is not related to the double honk on exit with the truck running. I have disabled the double honk but not the alert honk, which is still functioning.
It's in the BdyCM I'm fairly certain. I did it for the "key in ignition, vehicle running, no driver" honk. I am 90% sure the keyless is in there too, should be that same module. If you look at the names it should be fairly obvious. Filter on "honk" or "disable" and one of those should bring it up.How did you disable the double honk when you get out, and god forbid, they keys are in your pocket. OK thanks, I’m not a Forscan user and was hoping there was a setting but sure not finding it. Perhaps that’s the only optionIt's in the BdyCM I'm fairly certain. Yes it was in the BCM but it was a while ago that I made my changes so I can't remember the specifics. Like Gizmokid said though, it is pretty self explanatory once you see it. I need to play with it again soon and extend the power off time for infotainment system after switching ignition off. It's in the BdyCM I'm fairly certain.
