Yes super easy to do and very necessary. My headlights were a fair amount too high after a +3/+1" Eibach lift. Found a nice parking garage to readjust the aim and also did my DD SS3 fogs at the same time.
Depending how much you want to spend, the Trigger 6-Shooter is a nice option to check out. It has a wireless controller unless you want switch backlighting (I did), and even then just a single light gauge wire pair to the base. The switch bank sits on a magnetic base so you can take it outside...
Most of the led strips the folks have added on here draw like 2 amps or less. But of course the upfitters are the safer route. I haven't seen anyone report an issue using that circuit though.

Also, fyi no issues with my setup after 2+ years in service.
I've used Prolightz in Quebec on multiple occasions for the Ranger and a few previous vehicles. Always great customer service. I'm actually just waiting for a Black Friday deal to make another order with them.
I'll chime in on this with my experience. My '21 never had this clunk issue until recently after my center support bearing failed at ~27k km. I had it replaced under warranty and was hopeful it would go away, but it remained.
I assume what you're referring to is what can be felt just at the...
Did he try using the tow/haul function or sport mode on the Ranger? Either should alleviate those complaints at the cost of fuel economy (but who buys a truck for fuel economy?) I frequently use sport mode or remove some of the top three gears depending on the terrain, hills, cruising speed...
I copied Sid on this...and possibly a few other mods he has done. His build thread was great reading material back when I was waiting for my truck to be delivered. Be warned though you'll be spending some $$$ if you read through it 😄
I'd be more concerned about functional issues. Have you tried them yet? They look great on my RTR flares and blend right in but my driver side light didn't make it through one of our harsh winters without a few of the LED's in the strip dying. My expectations were low especially considering the...
Interesting. I've been using the Raptor splash screen and use night mode permanently for as long as I've had my truck, but haven't tried the Lincoln colors. I need to look into this.
I assume you're referring to a different charging pad? I'm using the pad that Dirk uses and haven't had any issues in the 1.5 years it's been in service. I also wired in a separate fused power supply for quick charge and my phone sits there any time I'm in the truck.
Haha I hear you, I bit the bullet and haven't regretted it for a second (I'll be the devil on your shoulder lol). 17x9 +1mm offset with 295/70r17. I researched the hell out of different flares/wheels/offsets back before I decided which route I wanted to take.
I actually couldn't find it in the owner's manual. It just says to bring it to a dealer for service if the monitoring system is behaving like mine is. But the procedure is posted by several Ford dealership websites. I guess I'll give it a try.
Stumbled upon this thread after having an issue following a swap back to my summer wheels with genuine Ford TPMS sensors. They worked fine last year (bought new from dealer for my aftermarket wheels). I then ran aftermarket winter wheels that came with "programmed" aftermarket sensors that my...
That's good to hear. When I read this, I suspected deposits on the intake valves. Been wondering how many miles on these Direct Injection engines before that becomes an issue. Are your MPG's same as always?
Yeah I get it. I put the ReadyLift beams in mine and I am a little ocd about keeping stock parts intact. The fender flare/trims don't have to come off to get that 4th bolt in blocks, just the bottom few clips in the inner fender liner so you can (carefully) pull it out enough to get to the bolt.
I had a recip saw and about $200 worth of premium blades on hand after reading about the joy of the cutting process. But that was my plan B if unbolting things didn't work. I ended up not needing to cut anything at all and slid them out. It really helps to have a friend to hold the bumper at a...
