I disabled the fake engine noise in my 2019 Lariat with the B&O sound system and IMO it made a big difference. Love it.
Just disabled it on my 19 Lariat w/ B&O this weekend after finding this thread. Completely agree that it’s a huge improvement.

Dang it! Now I got to buy a OBD device to disable it.
Yeah, but once you have it, there are so many other neat things you can change. Besides its only money. ?

one of these days I want to shut off the fake engine noise.....can you also route the warning chimes to the dash instead of the speakers via forscan?

I get no sound when I play your video. I played a different random video just to make sure it was playing sound on YouTube ok. Any guesses?
Same here I just tried watching the video...I saw one with audio but it was on an F-150

Gotta admit, it's kinda funny that this is a video that teaches you how to turn off noise ???!

Forscan has a new update with a GUI section for the ACM which has a switch to turn off the fake engine noise. It's all over the Forscan thread.
I updated to the latest and don't see a GUI for toggling this.

I can drill down to the ACM Module configuration (AS BUILT format) and I see 727-01-01 but I'm unsure about the values to edit. Am I changing the second block's leading number (3) to 1?

I tried it last night too and noticed I only had the (AS BUILT format) instead of both versions then I read that I may have clicked Load Profile when I was starting the connection.

If you downloaded the new Forscan version, you need to click "No" on load profile. Then forscan will go through and scan all your modules again. Now you should see the ACM Module that you can run and see the graphical stuff. Your original profile does not have that ACM module there in the GUI format. I bet you're running into the same thing I did.

Forget the As-Built, shouldn't really be in that anymore. The non As-Built ACM is where you should work and your only two choices are Enables or Disabled...much better than a hex/dec code decision.
