I still have 6 months of warranty may just order one rather than go thru multiple visits to the dlr. Already went once and got the just the Trans reset only even after telling them this was the fix.

Kills me that the part is sold out all over but the service departments will claim they haven't heard about this part being the cause of this issue.

Don't remember if I commented on this issue previously or not. I experienced 'surging-bucking' upon coming to a stop. I'm somewhat mobility challenged - realized I wasn't moving my right foot completely off of the throttle and onto the brake pedal - I was depressing both pedals. I still do this on rare occasions without realizing it. Ranger runs fine otherwise.

Recalling my previous 2005 Mustang GT - early VIN S197. Fuel tanks replaced due to fuel filling issues. Unfortunately, the new tank didn't completely cure the issue, although now happened rarely with the new tank. The popular 'fix' was to buy 'the new design' vapor separator that mounted next to the tank. $32 as I recall - made absolutely no difference. Strangely, it looked identical to the original device.

As before, just rotate the fill nozzle handle to 1200 o'clock - 200 o'clock and problem solved.

My 2019 with 29000km has this issue and my new EGR valve is here.

I have a stupid question though before I put it on: These hose clamps with the yellow/white plastic loop tabs? Are you supposed to remove the plastic thing to allow the clamp to fully tension or are you supposed to just leave it on there.

Obviously the OEM left theirs on, but just askin, maybe thats why the valves are all screwed up because the hoses arent tight?

These loops keep the hose clamps open. Once fitted on the steel pipes of your truck, twist these loops off and the hose clamps, clamp, securing the hose.
Yes, remove after installation.

Looks to me like they should come off. I first thought they locked the clamps in place.

Install of the new part is complete. (LB5Z-9J433-B)

Truck drives nice, seems way smoother. Im happy. The install for a non mechanic wasnt bad. Access to the old clamps is the hardest part, but once I got the smaller of the two off the rest was a breeze.

Yes thanks to the posters who mentioned the yellow and white tabs come off once installed. Thats actually a pretty slick design! Twist and they are clamped on. Easier then I expected. Ill report back if I have any new bucking.

Mine came in the other day, since I lifted the truck, its not easy to get to the parts now. I had to use a ladder, lol. I hope some one here get us a quick instruction.

i sold my truck i still have a band new valve still in box sitting newxt to me !! im in lakeland fl.33805 i would take 25 bucks plus shipping !! sold it

My 2019 is not it’s 4th trip to the dealership for this same problem. Well over 100 days in total likely creeping up in 150 at this point. I can’t wait to get rid of this this POS. By far the biggest headache of a vehicle I’ve ever owned and I’ve had a few Rams so that’s saying something.

I read this thread when the problems started and told the service rep about it. Ended up with a valve body rebuild. Then a torque converter after that I actually got a egr check engine light and they replaced a sensor. Picked it up headed out of town for work the same day and about two hours later it actually got worse. Dropped it back off and now after 4 weeks in the shop they are telling me that they can’t find a problem and it drives just like the other used one on the lot. My response was that they are trying to sell someone a broken truck then. They asked me to come in and show them what it’s doing but I’m out of town on assignment. My guess is when I get back and I show them what it’s doing they’ll tell me that’s normal.
