That's your problem right there!! You need a tune.
I’ve got a tune already. I may have failed to update the tune properly though. I will remove the tune then install it back in the truck to see if it’s any better.

I suggest you do data logging with your tuner. Even if its a canned tune, when you start to remove emission equipment, canned tunes sometimes are just not enough. Also you could have a slight leak somewhere messing with AFR's.

Wow your exhaust is loud...what make is it? In the old days, surging could mean you have a vacuum leak...

I may drive the couple hours back to 5 Star Tuning to see what they can figure out too. I was hoping to be able to swing the turbo upgrade all at once.
