Usually I would have changed them at around 100,000, but because my truck was running so well, I just kept putting it off. I was still averaging between 23 to 24 mpg before the new plugs. I honestly thought the old plugs were going to look like crap.
I just recently changed the rear diff oil...
Finally changed the spark plugs in my 2020 Ranger @ 120,6649 miles on the original plugs. Thought for sure the plugs world have looked worse then they did. I do have to say, the engine feels more responsive with the new plugs.
Thank you for the tip. I read the section in the owner manual you were talking about and know what to do if it happens again before I get a chance to check out the the shifter cable locking clip that
airline tech mentioned.
Apart from just jiggling the shifter, restarting the engine a dozen times I was able to shift out of park. I have had no issues since. I'll have to look into it further on my day off.
This morning I was leaving work and I am unable to shift out of park. I can what I think is a solenoid clicking and the “P” on the instrument panel turn off but I am unable to move the shift lever out of park. Is there a way I can manually release the shift lever? Currently stuck at work trying...
I have not considered LED for my side markers. I did change out my halogens headlights and driving lights for LED’s. That made a world of difference. Even after aiming my headlights down a few degrees, I would constantly get blights flashed at me. I put the stock bulbs back in and left the LED’s...
This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time my brake lights would not turn off. This happened in July of this year. I bought a new brake light switch and all the issues went away.
I am wondering if it might be the brake light switch. Maybe a faulty contact in the switch. I...
On the way home from work this morning I received these three messages on my instrument panel. I had the cruise control on and when these warning messages started cruise control was turned off, my brakes were automatically applied. I was 73 mph and when the truck slowed to 60 mph the brakes...
Update on my turn signal not working:
This morning after work I did what Trigganometry and SigOris suggested and found that I was getting a range from about 2 volts to about 18 volts with the blinker on. This was the same voltage range as the left blinker. Plugged the bulb back in and still no...
I drive minimum of 4200 miles a month going back and forth to work. Bought brand new in first part of October of 2020 and currently have over 55,000 miles on it now.
Inside the connector was very clean and with the turn signal on I moved the plug around to see if I could get a flicker. No such luck. I did check the plug with a multimeter set to ohms and did get an audible tone sound turn on and off with the turn signal on. After I put everything back...
I checked the plug at the contacts and was able to hear the audible tone from the multimeter turn on and off while the right blinker was turned on. sounded just like the left turn signal when I checked that side also. So plug is getting power when the right turn signal is on, maybe not enough...
