good morning gents and lady's anyone know if a 3 inch front 1 inch rear dose to your warranty. didn't even get truck yet have plan for exhaust / cold air intake and for sure a lift . almost went for tremor package (4700 $ more )but i could do some stuff cheaper myself. its a 2021 dealer offers a lift or leveling kit 1200 $ can get parts for under 400$ please advisee. this is way more fun than i thought. thanks dave.
In my personal opinion, dealers will try to void warranty and save a dime on their end regardless. Will likely try and say the lift caused any issue even if installed by dealer. Now for $1200 is that just a spacer? If so that’s bad however if it’s actual lift (like a Eibach pro kit) with installation and I assume alignment it’s not too terrible of a price.

Very helpful. Just now debating 2" vs 2.5". Which did you prefer and why?

I'll give you my .02 which might be all it's worth. ?

I went with the 2.5" because it brings the front closer to level. It's still about 3/8" lower than the rear but by eye you can't tell. If you're going to be hauling heavy stuff you might want to go with the 2". This way when the rear sags from the weight the front won't be higher.

I agree with Dave. I most definitely prefer the 2.5 inch level for pretty much the same reasons. From a looks standpoint, almost all of the rake is gone making the truck look more aggressive but the rear is just a bit higher.
A note - the ReadyLift 2 inch only provided me with no more than 1.5 inches of 'lift' and there was still a noticeable rake that 'bugged' me. The Rough Country 2.5 inch that I used provided a true 2.5 inches.
My only hesitation on going with a true 2.5 inches would be if you are planning on retaining the OEM tires.....in my case, my truck came with optional Hankook Dynapro AT2 (not the ATM)....I think they look fine but once they wear I will not hesitate to go up a size!

Bilstein 5100 all the way around 2.5” level in the front.

Toyo open country At3 285x70x17.

I love that it looks and rides like a completely different truck

Ps the running boards are gone now also.

Not sure if I am allowed to, but here goes.
Mine, before lift, stock tyres 265/65/17.

After lift: 2" front (32mm spacers) and back (add a leaf). Tyres 265/70/17". Flares added later.

And here a comparison with a stock ranger, model Thunder 2020. This time is with the winter tyres, 265/65/17. It sits a bit higher with the all terrains.
