I made it too easy and wasn't even thinking!
I initially thought it seemed odd the insulator didn't sit flush I guess but I'm glad it's normal, I won't replace it and save some money.
Excellent. Thank you for responding so quickly. I will look elsewhere to see what needs to be replaced. I do have a creaking sound from my front end, which may be ball joints.
Hello, I was looking underneath my truck today and noticed the two rubber bushings (cab mount?) look like this. This doesn't seem normal to me. Can anyone tell me if this is acceptable or do they need replacement.

Edit: truck has about 135k, these have never...
I'm glad the spacer stopped it, but I'd feel very upset after spending that money. I have their upper control arms but your experience leads me to skip the leafs. Thank you.
This is super helpful to me, I was leaning Icon but multiple reviews mention the squeak. Old Man Emu recommends some weight in the bed I'm usually unloaded. I guess Dobinson might be the best upgrade spring for me.
I am looking at the Icon springs currently, but I'm curious if you know as to why the global springs aren't an option. I believe the part # is jb3c-5560-te for anyone looking. One seller has the new in England and does not ship to the United States.
I did mine last week. Remove the four bolts from each end, then two bolts that hold the center support. It popped right off. When you install the Tom Wood's driveshaft you don't reinstall the center support. Took me an hour and I was moving slow.
My dealer told me they actually do not have a transmission tech, and they send their jobs out to a third party. I do appreciate that the service advisor told me he wouldn't pay that price and said an independent shop would likely be a better route. I also need a new driveshaft (my second) and...
Hello everyone, I just found out yesterday my transmission needs to be repaired or replaced. I paid $220 for the dealer to diagnose it. They didn't tell me specifically what was wrong. $12,000 for a new transmission or a repair for an estimated $7,000. I have 131,000 miles so no warranty, I'm on...
You don't have to. I believe Eibach has replied to people in the past and said it works with stock components. I have the Eibach kit and bought UCAs only because I was doing the suspension at 100k and wanted them.
I know you didn't ask me but I wanted to jump on and say I started noticing when it got warm auto start stop was not kicking on as frequently, to the point where I was expecting it and it wouldn't.
I am having great luck with an Odyssey battery. I found them at Napa, Motorcraft is great too.
I had this issue, bleeding the brakes did help using Forscan. I replaced my front calipers at 100k and noticed an even bigger improvement. I replaced them with the same Motorcraft calipers from Rockauto.
O
That's a beautiful truck!
I think you are correct, I found this picture as part of my claim documents and I hope the only affected area is by the crash bar.
Initially it was 5k and change, they just updated the estimate with an additional $4,500 with the frame damage.
It's being repaired at the dealership I purchased it from, they have a collision shop luckily.
