Time for tires on my 2021 FX4. Looking at putting the Rough Country leveling struts and a little bit bigger tire, but my question is will I have to have the lane keeping, auto headlights etc. recalibrated or will it be ok? Any input helps, thanks!

Headlight aim is a definite. If you have ACC the grille sensor is a good idea. Not really sure about lane keeping and auto headlights, as they both use the front facing camera in the windshield.

I installed the RC leveling coil overs a couple years ago. Had the dealership do it for warranty purposes and had almost 90,000 pass points. Only thing that needed to be adjusted due to the lift was the headlights. Mine is an XLT so I don’t have the fancy Lariat stuff lol. I had a feeling they wouldn’t adjust the headlights. I put my front tires on a seam in my driveway then marked on my garage door with tape where the lights were hitting it. When I brought the truck home I repeated the process. I had to adjust them down. I adjusted the tire size with the Livernois programmer.

Great idea for adjusting the headlights, assuming they were properly aligned at the factory.

After leveling mine, i just adjusted the headlight aim and updated the tire size in Forscan. I didn't bother with the ACC sensor, i monitored it for a bit and seemed to be working just fine so i didn't bother as I think thats a dealer trip anyways.

I went with the no one was flashing their high beams at me and nobody I knew that passed me complained theory lol. But you’re spot on, it works only if they were correctly adjusted to start with lol.

I went up 1" on tire size and 3/4" with Eibach Pro Truck struts and shocks. I only had to adjust the headlights and tire size with Forscan. My FX4 has all those electronics. Keep in mind, the other systems are designed to work with a full load in the truck, basically level.

Yes, that is correct ....
285/75 you will be off by 10% I have checked by GPS so when the dash shows 60 you will actually be doing 66

Thanks for the input everyone. Got the 2” RC struts mounted up with the ReadyLift Anti-Intrusion beams and some Kenda Klever R/T 33x10.5” tires. Super happy with the way it turned out! First drive today on my way to work, truck rode smooth and lane assist/auto dimming lights worked as they should. According to my GPS the Speedo was off by about 3mph at 70mph and barely noticeable around town at 25-30mph. Install on struts and crash bars was a bit of a pain, especially when the driver side CV pulled apart, but I managed to get it all back together and so glad to have the truck look halfway decent now!
