Greg, this just might be the culprit - they squawk when the battery is low to alert the dealer to change the battery. Look under your dash for it zip-tied in place and spliced into your wiring harness or fuse box. It might also be hidden in your engine bay somewhere.Sounds a bit like this tracking device I found on mine, it was mounted under the dash near the ODB

I’m curious what the auto manufacturer’s warranty folks have to say about these aftermarket devices.
Do they drain our batteries enough to affect their life and warranty? Does splicing these into wiring harnesses impact our warranty when it comes to electrical issues? I wonder. ?
