I added the AVS Bugdeflector II to my Lariat today. I used the AVS pins and they seem to hold tight. I do like the lip and the overall contours.

Looks good - that's what I'm getting on my Magnetic Lariat, but I'm having it put on at Line-X where they're doing my cover and bed liner. I'm not handy and i did not think $50 was too much.

Congrats on getting your truck. You probably saw my Saber Lariat when you picked yours up. I was on a fishing trip when Russell texted me that they had been delivered. Will be picking it up tomorrow after work.

Mine is not here yet. I think I did see yours last Wednesday when I got back from a auction pick up for them....Terry was struggling to use the app to unlock yours :) Mine is scheduled for delivery next week - getting them to put on a cat-back exhaust and letters on the tailgate, then over to Line-X for bed liner and cover along with the bug deflector.

Ordered my AVS bug shield Tue 23rd estimated delivery 7-30/ 8-2. Received it yesterday. Did the install this morning time to install less than 1hr. This is my procedure.
1 deburred holes in bug shield
2 cleaned leading edge of hood
3 placed a moving blanket over engine bay, if you drop a pin it may be hard to locate if ever located, they only supply 8 that are needed
4 test fit bug shield and mark hood with chalk to locate pins that need to be removed
5 remove pins
6 reinstall bug shield under rubber and locate holes rubber will hold it in place
7 insert new pins be sure pin is fully inserted before setting the screw
8 clean chalk off hood
As far as I am concerned the pin tool remover is a must have
That's my story and I'm sticking to it

I purchased and installed the Ford deflector. Took a little over an hour. Have to admit, I was nervous putting those clamps/brackets on the hood lip. I was afraid I’d scratch the hood. Ended up looking really nice.

Installed the AVS Bugshield II today. Took all of
20190728_164307.jpg
15 minutes using supplied fasteners. Key was a removal tool. Pops the OEM right out.
Tod. Looks good. It looks like yours from what I can see has an AVS sticker on it like others I have seen. Mine did not have a sticker but it has the AVS engraved. Yes the tool is a must.

I really didnt look close at it....but i think it is more of a stick on emblem than a sticker. I will look closer tomorrow.

I got the tool at the local autozone for like 9 bucks. Called a door panel remover. Green handle.

The shield is the AVS bugflecter II.
