  1. Knock sensor

BTW, can’t use any poison due to my 5 dogs. If one of those rodents got caught by my crew it could be bad for them!
  2. Knock sensor

I’m using Grandpa Gus packets and spraying Rodent Defense under the hood and wheel wells. Time will tell.
  3. Knock sensor

Well warranty will not cover rodent abuse! Dealer called this AM and informed me that it was defective due to the wire being gnawed through by some critter. So total will be ~$400.00. I am curious as to why after 2 years, the rodents are now attacking my wiring? I’ve lived her for 14 years...
  4. Knock sensor

I have a SEL, Ford Pass says it’s a Knock sensor failure on my 2019 Lariat with 27,000 miles. has anyone else had this issue? I hear the intake needs to be removed, any idea on the flat rate for R&R? Thanks
  5. 4th Brake Light/Turn signals/Backup/Running wiring

No pictures of how the module was spliced in. I do think the box requires a 12v hot wire but I’m just guessing. The other 4 wires could come off the wires from the 4 pin flat plug.

with the Tekonsha module, all systems systems function correctly! I had my custom shop install the module and LED tailgate LED bar.
  7. Trailer wiring and connector

I had that same issue a year ago. Had the Parts Manager run a search and there was one that showed up. I called and was able to get sent to my Dealer. Harness is easier to instal without the hitch and spare in the way. Did you order the FU5Z 14489 A receptacl? Makes for a clean instal that...

  9. Trailer wiring and connector

It replaces an existing harness. It’s not hard just tight spaces.
  10. Trailer wiring and connector

I would wait till it warms up. There are a number of clips that hold the harness and all the connection are plastic. If it’s below 45° they could be more prone to crack. Difficulty is a 2 on a 1-5 scale. It helps to drop your spare to give you more room.

  13. Anyone running a tailgate light bar?

I fought with my PUTCO bar for about 2+ months. Short story, you need a signal isolator to keep the lighting/sensors systems from being tripped. Look here...
  14. installing Tailgate light bar

The converter is tied up behind the bumper. I installed the tow package harness with the bumper 7/4 pin connector. The 7 pin round and 4 pin flat are plugged into the connector mounted in the bumper. I’d have to look to see if the 4 pin flat on module is cut off, don’t know why it would be...

  20. DIY very cool, inexpensive tailgate light bar - your Ranger will be seen!

The PUTCO is ~$200, module is ~$22. The $200 price I paid included Instal. Instal should not take over an hour once they have the module.
