I never realized it wasn't powered when unlocking doors or even open doors after it's been powered down. I usually get to my destination and just open the tailgate and turn them on. But I did try in "ACC" w/ my push button and they turned on then so that's a workaround if you don't want to...

I'm very happy w/ my overall avg 18.07MPG.
Most of my trips over the last 2 months have been 2 lane roads 67 MPH for 53 miles and then interstate 82 MPH for 220 miles with an avg of 18.14MPG.
At 11,684 miles on my seat w/ my 300# body/frame, I feel my seat is holding up very well.
No noticeable sag or wear.
Don't have many passengers so no other wear and tear on other seats to note.
