While I have my paid off '19 Ranger essentially sold (presuming I can get a '24 R Raptor or there is a V-6 option for other than Raptor) to a private party at high private party estimate on KBB, my dealer wants a chance at it. I've tried to understand how the tax on trade and the tax credit for...
I live in IL about 20 miles from IA where I go about twice a month. 93 is at least $.20/gal less than 87 in my town. Its a no-brainer, I have FP Tune and Borla exhaust.....29 mpg at 65mph, 24 mpg at 80 mph.
Sorry to bother. I am coming up on 36 months, have about 13K miles on my Lariat. My dealer, who I have a close relationship with (small town, know the managers, etc.) contend that they cannot match discounted pricing. The question would be then don't dealers make anything fixing/replacing...
I feel you - don't drive much at night - other than switching to Climate on the screen I'm lost. Design flaw for sure no reason lighting them would have had ANY negative affects.
That is about what my quote was. I'll have to compare dealer cost (me providing shocks) with that of the truck store once I get ready to get them. I drive very little at night so haven't had a issue with flashing :)
That is actually what I want - better ride but no leveling. With no height adjustment did they still have to adjust your lights? What about alignment. I got a quote for a big truck accessory dealer and installation related cost dwarfed the cost of shocks.
This really bothered me. The glare off the center drivers side vent is the worst, its beyond glare in my opinion. I experimented with some extra pieces of tint our local tint/wrap/ceramic coat guy gave me. I thought it was coming in from drivers window but it actually seems to be coming in...
My thought - nonscientific - is that you are correct. Again thanks for the info and advice. AZ is a bit of a hike :). The tails I could tell you of my first job as a wash/wax boy for a used car lot in Daytona Beach in 1964 - the products in those days, not to mention the absence of clear...
Thanks for the insights. You never know. I get plenty of shine with the at least 6 different products that I have tried - the slickest surface (least surface resistance when hand buffed) I got was/is from Shine Armor Quick Coat. I'm pretty lazy, never used a clay bar in my many years even...
Perhaps that makes a difference but I read this part and as it says did not do paint correction. "If desired, correct your car’s paint before applying, but this is not necessary for the product to fully bond to the paint. "
I tried this mainly to test its claim that it was extremely hydrophobic. Did half of my hood and there was absolutely no difference. This pic is hood and you (at least I) can't tell which side has the 303, other is the under $8 Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax...
I did everything but the final step of transferring the tune to the truck. All steps take no more than a few minutes of time where you are actually actively doing things - 90% of the time is unattended uploads and downloads. There is no reason to have to take your computer to the dealer, just...
I get almost 29 mpg at sustained speeds of 62-65 mph, 24 mpg at 78 mph. Tune plus Borla and 93 oct. Don't know if its better, don't care and have only checked it once in 2 years.
