I thought that rating it poorly because of body fitment is BS, clearly they set out to tank the Ranger and could only really find body alignment issues, sounds like a paid advertisement, except against a product, not promoting a product.

Pffft - this article relies on an article from another publication as its source - one that shows a RoW Ranger Raptor - WTF? Both articles are weak on substance and sources, which shows they should not be taken seriously. Sadly, it’s the Internet and contributors can say whatever they want and site owners don’t care because ad revenue is the sole reason for their site’s existence. If they have traffic, they can sell ad space.

Even if it’s a truck forum with a bunch of yahoos talking crap all day long. ??

I've got 53,000 miles on my 2019 and the only problem to date was replacing my heater box. Blend door dies and the dealer replaced the entire box on the extended warranty. It took 2 days from dropping it off to picking it up fixed. I have no complaints and love this truck. And I come from owning 6 previous Chevy Silverado's. This Ranger has me sold on the Ranger line.

Thank the maker, the heavy lifting was done by the ROW crowd.

I've always got burned by first year runs in the past. Everything from Street bikes to trucks to snowmobiles I've had issue with them some major ones too. With that said I don't have to much reserve about buying a newer Gen Ranger because like you said it's already been out ROTW. Then add to it the drivetrain is going to be the same that we have now and suspension like the Bronco has which are my main concerns. Sure anything can still happen but having it being tested now overseas and using the same drivetrain I won't hesitate to buy a first year run Ranger.

Yeah... the 2019 Ranger is so bad that a year and a half after I bought it my dealer wanted it back from me for $5K more than I paid for it. ? And I loved it so much I refused. ❤

But I think the thing that speaks volumes is that the '19 Ranger is the one vehicle that brought me back to automatic transmissions. Everything I have owned has been manual by demand so I can get away from slow, uncontrolled and indecisive shifting. And I was sooo close to buying a Tacoma with a manual as a result. Well it turns out automatics can be done well and I've been happy with the Ranger since. And my wife can even drive it.

It's 2023 now and I have had 0 problems with my Ranger. It just keeps going. Still happy.

Problem is, they will produce a near infinite quantity of blathering BS like this along the way!

Reads like a poorly programmed AI written article.
A good guess. I think the point of the article was not to be factual but to get clicks and as such, has probably been successful. Probably scraped some anecdotal issues from forums and assembled them all together trying to make it "factual".

I had to laugh at the "drivers side lean" - I remember those discussions and also people piping in that it is pretty common on MANY trucks.

When I took the click bait on the title, I expected to read about engines dropping valves, death wobble, brake failures, spontaneous electrical fires, exploding fuel tanks, rusted out frames, etc. A little cabin wind noise and tires that MAY wear unevenly? Seriously?

Any ideas of how to reduce noise within the cabin? I find that I can hear a lot of noise coming from the doors as cars pass.
There is an adjustment for that, turn the knob shown below clockwise 360 degrees.
