Yeah, I’m going there
This is to try to get an actual feel for the percentage of forum members who have actually had to have transmission repairs / replacements ( warranty or not) as compared to those who have never had their Ranger in for transmission related issues.
We often read that it’s only a small percentage of owners who have issues resulting in repairs or replacements. Hopefully this sheds some light on that claim. Thanks for participating

I voted NO but it might be a technical yes. I had the software reflashed a few years ago because of hard 3-5 shifts. It would shift 1-3-5!-6-7-8-9-10 After the reflash it shifted 1-2-4-6-7-8-9-10 smoothly until last summer the DPFE acted up, causing hesitation and pulsing in 4th, but not really a trans. issue. the CEL came on and there was a coolant leak on the EGR sensor. Got it fixed under extended warranty.

My 2019 is at 42K and running strong. PPE Pan, filter, fluid and Lubeguard Platinum at 40K. I attribute some of it to being a pre-COVID build.

I debated about adding a “maybe” choice.

22 with the original drive train, still running like a champ, with 108k and some change on the odometer.

EDIT:
Now for some ROADKILL humor.
She runs great, I love her just the way she is!

My '23 only has 21.800 miles and running great. I did add the extended warranty (10/100K) to it just in case it goes...💣 At this point it is what it is and I'm not going to loose sleep over it and just pray I have a good one.

Maybe someone can correct me but isn’t it after halfway through the 22 models the updated transmission parts were put in as standard? If that’s the case you should be fine I would hope!
