The place that did my side windows said the only thing was I needed to leave the windows up for a couple of days until sure of adhesion. That was in 2023 and have had no problems with either bubbling or edges pealing. I have the in channel vents.
I ran my 2019 to over 85,000 miles before trading for a 2023 which is coming up on 60,000 miles and have had no problems with either. Maybe it's the way I drive or maybe I've been lucky. Take that for whatever it's worth.
The Ranger has done better than me. It's still going strong with 57.000+ miles while I required a complete knee replacement about 3 months ago. Recovery is coming along so hope to soon be in as good a shape as the truck. Thanks for asking.
I had someone rearend mine a few months ago. The bumper didn't get into the sheet metal so no problem there. For new bumper, hitch, top cover, a couple of trim pieces that go underneath, bumper painting, labor and recalibrating the park sensors cost the insurance company $2,200.
I had over 80,000 almost trouble free miles on my 2019 with the heater box being replaced under warranty being the only thing before trading it on my 2023. Have had no problems with it with over 18,000 miles so far.
A couple years ago I saw a wind tunnel test of Ford trucks where they used the smoke to show the wind flow over the vehicle. The wide, flat top to the tailgate is not just for looks. As the smoke/wind came off the top of the cab the top of the tailgate is where it touched the truck again...
