I tell her to take it all the time but she just doesn't feel comfortable driving it. The bad thing is every time she wants to go somewhere or to the gym which is daily I have to drive her. But I guess it's better than her getting into an accident because she can't see well enough. The bonus is I don't have to get into it an adjust all my mirrors and seat after she's driven it. lolmy wife hates driving the f150 because of how tall and wide the thing is lol. she will drive it sometimes but prefers more midsize trucks and compact cars. atm she is wanting either a gx460 or a 4th gen 4runner it seems.

yaaa emily is comfy driving it buuut the issue is she feels like a bull in a china shop so refuses to drive it unless she truly has to. she really hates when she tows the small trailer since you cant really see it behind the truck lol.I tell her to take it all the time but she just doesn't feel comfortable driving it. Technology is a great thing until you realize you're loosing your privacy along the way. I'd love to get the memory seats & mirrors but that package only comes with a sunroof which I dot want. The wife's car has "Profiles"
Kinda like memory seats except it remembers almost everything.
Seat position (including lumbar setting), mirror position, temperature setting, favorite radio stations, etc.
Apparently you can also link it to the key fobs so if she walks up to the driver door it knows it's her and sets her profile and if I walk up with my fob it sets my profile.
I haven't done that yet.
I'm wondering how all this integrated tech is going to age over the years.
I remember when Ford partnered with Microsoft for the first versions of Sync.
Yeah, that went well.

Technology continues to get closer and closer to our bodies, from the phones in our pockets to the smartwatches on our wrists. Now, for some people, it's getting under their skin.
In Sweden, a country rich with technological advancement, thousands have had microchips inserted into their hands.
The chips are designed to speed up users' daily routines and make their lives more convenient — accessing their homes, offices and gyms is as easy as swiping their hands against digital readers.
They also can be used to store emergency contact details, social media profiles or e-tickets for events and rail journeys within Sweden.
Yeah but if you’re having trouble passing the Montreal Cognitive Assessment and wander off, they can scan you like a lost puppy and have you returned to your rightful owner.Technology is a great thing until you realize you're loosing your privacy along the way. I really like some of but it's not worth it for what you're giving up and it's only getting worse. All this digital ID crap is going to take even more away and pretty soon it'll be too late to go back. They sell it to you as "convenience" and so many people are falling for it.
Once everything is digitalized they'll be able to control you even more. You have a nice sized bank account Dennis yet your neighbor doesn't. Let's slide a few thousand over tho them because you don't need all that money. Didn't take the mandatory vax, let's freeze all your accounts until you do which they really can do now but once paper money is gone you're screwed.
Look at what some Swedes are doing. It gets worse the more you read and they they think this is a good thing and love it!

I liked that it was smaller and easier to manuver in cities/parking decks/etc.love driving mine! after having a few midsize and smaller trucks this thing is great! but its not that great on mpg now with the 35s i put on it lmao
i will agree on that my red taco that i had was the easiest to fit in places since it was an access cab so rather small. the f150 im always worried about hitting my roof of parking garages since it has a 2.5in lift and 35s which pushed the truck another 2.5ish inches up so she sits pretty dang tall!I liked that it was smaller and easier to manuver in cities/parking decks/etc.
The F150 is a comfortable monster, but the Ranger was more fun to drive.
i always thought the profile seat thing is really neat but ive always been cheap and just had cars with manual adjustment lol. dont think my ranger was electronic? but i cant remember its been a couple years since i had it!The wife's car has "Profiles"

At least I don't have that problem, my wife is 6 foot tall and thus only a little bit shorter than me, so we can swap cars easily at any time. But she still doesn't drive the Ranger much, she considers it slow, dirty smelling, noisy (well it IS a diesel I suppose) and hard to park, compared to her E-car.yaaa emily is comfy driving it buuut the issue is she feels like a bull in a china shop so refuses to drive it unless she truly has to. she really hates when she tows the small trailer since you cant really see it behind the truck lol.
agreed on them moving the seats and mirrors lol every single time she does move it even an inch she moves the seat like dangit... now i gotta get it back to where im comfy lol.
Damn she is harsh with her review lmaoAt least I don't have that problem, my wife is 6 foot tall and thus only a little bit shorter than me, so we can swap cars easily at any time. Mrs. DukeCanBuildit says the same thing about me but says nothing about my truck. At least I don't have that problem, my wife is 6 foot tall and thus only a little bit shorter than me, so we can swap cars easily at any time. Makes mental note…If we ever come up to Duke’s cottage, Duke & Annie ride together in the same truck while me and Mrs Duke take mine.Mrs. DukeCanBuildit says the same thing about me but says nothing about my truck.
No the review, I can deal with, although a bit unfair, for a diesel truck it's actually pretty quick, it's the smugness with the current fuel prices that gets me. Along the lines of prices, what prices, I don't look at those signs any more. ( As she plugs her car into our home solar)Damn she is harsh with her review lmao
My wife loves the Ranger, but when she uses it she always moves the seat back for me so I don't get crushed when I first get in. #keeperI tell her to take it all the time but she just doesn't feel comfortable driving it.
