That's even worse, the absolute bottom is forty grand? lol ?you can buy a Jeep cheaper than that, Ford is nuts
Yeah, but I am a fan of creature comforts - a 30k jeep has no comforts. LOL

Just saying, that's who they clearly aim to compete with with the Bronco but they're starting a good $5k higher than even the wrangler let alone stuff like the Compass that's cheaper

That's because jeep owners are poors, we Ford owners are ballers.

I really like the look of the Rivian R3 - looks like an electric VW Golf...

I really would love to get a 2-door bronco . . . they look super nimble and I think they would be good to drag behind a camper.

EDIT- Of course the badlands, lux sasquatch is still a 60k vehicle - even as a 2-door. and lets not talk about how going from a 2-door badlands to a Braptor nearly doubles the price. WTF. Braptors are nice, but they are not that nice - that is entry level supercar pricing...
My wife is getting a Rivian R2

I waited 34 months to get my '23 2dr Bronco Badlands w/2.7 twin turbo & high pkg. Had reserved in July 2020 with every option but had to drop Lux down to high pkg and also drop the Tow pkg to get it built during the supply chain shortages. I did get my price protection from 2020 plus Ford offered $2500 to drop the Lux/Tow so it could be built. That incentive plus the lower cost savings of the Lux/tow pkg meant I paid $48k + tx title etc when the window sticker it was shipped with was right at $58k. I love my Bronco but would not have purchased it at that price. Most vehicles are ridiculous in price now. I would have just kept my Ranger. The 2.7 is awesome in the 2dr and very glad I opted for it now that you can't get one short of $75k. Installed all the tow pkg and brake controller myself for under $400 so it could safely tow our small 14' camper. It's like it's not even back there :)

Besides freaking dumb.
Sadly there are foolish people like this everywhere. They just had to have the newest toy then figured out later that the $1,000/month payments (plus insurance) were to much for them. I'd bet these are the same ones who will tell you they'll never be able to retire and will be working until they drop. ?‍♂

Yep. And when you drive by their house... and I'm being kind calling it that... you think "jeez how are you not trying to fix/repair/salvage/improve/clean up that needs to be condemned hovel?" But there is always, always a new high dollar vehicle of some sort sitting there. That vehicle is generally a decked out full size pickup. I just don't get it. Priorities people.

What did I ever do to you to get targeted that harshly. The trim on my garage that was built in 1990 is falling off around the doors and I just can't find the interest in fixing it. And I have trust issues in others doing it because early on in my home ownership, everyone that was called in did a half ass job or left damage behind they didn't feel a need to fix. I'm still working on the floor in the kitchen, but getting near the end of that work, then on to the cabinets and counters.
