Noticed that the skid plate was hanging low on one side, so got it up on the ramps to have a look. It turns out that at some point, I sheared off the two front bolts holding up the skid plate. Anybody know what size they are, and can I just pick some up from the hardware store or do I need to special order them from somewhere?

Also, any advice on getting out the part of the bolt that's still stuck in there would be appreciated. It appears as if they're sticking out the top end, so I was thinking of going at them with a set of pliers and trying to crank them down enough until I can grip them from the bottom and basically keep doing the same until they come out, but if anyone has a better suggestion, I'm all ears.
I wouldn't go at with pliers untill I exhasted all other means. Messes up the threads. If enough of the bolt is showing try double nutting it and wrench it out.

Thanks. I'll have to see if there's enough sticking out the top end for that. There's nothing sticking out of the bottom end.

I knew it was getting close to being time to change the oil, so I started scrolling through the instrument cluster menu screens to check oil life….

Managed to find the right section to check, and yep…

Bronco wheels and 35s installed today.
Whoa! That looks amazing! :clap::like::rockon:

Two questions:
  1. Did you have the bead lock rings powder coated?
  2. Were you able to back out of the garage? I had my traction boards mounted on top of my rifle cases and before I drove out, realized I wouldn’t make it.
