With all the dumb driving stories, I thought I would add my own. I drove from Madison, In to Effingham IL Saturday evening and caught the worst of the snow west of Indy. I started to notice cars passing me that looked like they had headlights on but no tailights. Guess they were running daytime...
If you call me a redneck I reckon that I am. CDB
I prefer hillbilly and that is my excuse for some situations. My great grandfather married a 14 year old girl after his first wife died. Family story is she cost him a new car. My other great grandma was shot by her 2nd husband and had surgery to...
I wouldn't go at with pliers untill I exhasted all other means. Messes up the threads. If enough of the bolt is showing try double nutting it and wrench it out.
An important part of my safe driving training from my former company is not to back up unless you have no other option so I chose drive thru parking if available and yes I am one of those guys that will back into a parking spot. So I avoid backing and if I have to back, I back first. Old habits...
It happens, unloaded my recycle stuff, drove across town, it's a small town, pulled into Menards and saw my tailgate was down. Lost my little tool tote but it was sitting on the ground at the turn in to Menards. I got lucky.
Our local apholstery show just closed. The owners are in their 80's. I was hoping it would be as simple as a few bolts, unplug some wires and swap cushions. Not wanting to swap the seat frames.
So this is not what I did with my Ranger but what I would like to do. Can anybody tell me if it is possible to swap the front seat cushions? I am getting some wear on the drivers seat and while it is not bad, if I swap now would proably be good for the next 75000 miles.
Let my Ranger take me to the 2025 Great Race Event that stopped for lunch in Effingham today. Here are some of the Ford trucks that were there. https://www.greatrace.com/rally_details/route/
Had a partial on my inside left knee a few years ago. I was fortunate and walked out same day. Best advice is to follow doc's instructions and work on the range of motion exercises as much as pain allows. I was also fortunate in that the surgeon is one of the best in the world at what he does...
6 years on 4/19, 71,000 miles, no major troubles. I bought the 2nd Rnager from our local dealer, was looking for a used F150 but every one I brought home met with extreme disapproval from the boss so I told the salesman to let me try the Ranger. It was all over after that. This is the first of...
