Nice! I hope yours is fixed. My dealership is starting to piss me off, still saying they can’t find anything and again if nothing shows while it’s at the dealership for the 4th time they won’t do anything and will just return the vehicle to me when I get home. Keep saying they are just following ford Canada’s procedure but clearly that isn’t fixing the issue. I’ve asked for the procedure cause I want to see it he can actually provide it and if so see how far into it they are. Cause now I’m starting to think they are just bullshitting me.

Did you guys get this resolved? I just had the entire hill assist, abs, traction control, park assist, power steering and maybe another issue. Started as I was leaving my laneway.
No change for a 40 minute drive. On my return trip, it all cleared up. -15C and some snow. I was really hoping it was weather related. Sounds like I may not have seen the end of this. I'll start with a search for rodent evidence.

Unfortunately, this issue can be caused by numerous things - mostly with all of these messages they all tie into the ABS Module as the ABS Module communicates (Can-Bus) to other related modules.
One major input for the ABS Module is the wheel speed sensors - when faulted it will remain until the next ignition cycle (and if it self-tests good) the fault will not register again until it sees wheel speed rotation. (If the issue remains)

So, for this issue - after a power cycle - The registered fault May or May-Not be locked into memory- so it's best for pinpointing down these issues is to scan the truck at the time the messages are present.

Generally, the Wheel Speed sensor connector is the culprit for these (intermittent) fault issues.
Bump (Vibration), Water etc - causes a momentary loss of connection and the fault triggers.
More pronounced (persistent) issues are either (pick-up) related are a faulted sensor or wiring.
Pick-Up Related = Between the Sensor & Encoder.

Wow! You can't make that stuff up! Your detailed possible explanation is very much appreciated and I will present it to the dealer, if needed.
I was going to have a look at the sensors myself but decided to book an oil change service for 2 weeks away and see if this reoccurs.

I had this issue last year. It was intermittent to start with and i thought maybe something was getting wet but it continued when we had not rain or any kind of water that i had to drive through. I took it to a local automotive shop but no codes showed up. I called my Ford Dealership to se about getting them to run diagnostics on it. They informed me that they were about 5 days behind on diagnostics. I asked if i could make an appointment and was told no that I would have to bring it in and leave it to get inline for service. I took it in and left it with them for 7 working days we no contact from them. When I called to find out what was going on they tried to give me some lame excuse. I then called the service manager and ripped into him about being without my truck for over a week. Within 1 hour I received a call from my service rep telling me that that had diagnosed the problem a the Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor. I asked what the cost of repair would be and he told me $380.00. I told him not to touch my truck and i would be there to pick it up. After picking my truck up I placed an order on Amazon for 2 Rear Wheel Speed Sensors for a total price of $26.00. When they arrived I Replaced the Right Rear Sensor, which took me less than 30 minutes.

Sorry for the Long Rant.

This week i had this issue pop up again. This time i Ordered a full set of Wheel Speed Sensors and will Replace them all next week. Hopefully this will take care of this problem for a while.

What highly educated IDIOT at Ford Engineering decided that if a wheel speed sensor failed the best thing to do would be to disable Power Steering and Cruise Control???????

Rather than shotgun parts at it, get a scanner on it and see what is failing or coding or causing your issues.

It may not be a wheel speed sensor and even if it is - replacing it with a quality part (OE) will still be the amount you spent for all 4 from Amazon (?) quality parts.
There is a reason that the Ford sensor is $80.00 ea. and Amazon is $15.00 ea or whatever you paid.
The Ranger has Can Bus communication and the Wheel Speed Sensors and the ABS tie into a lot of modules for communication of that input.
Cruise Control - For the trims that have - Adaptive Cruise
EPAS - Steering - Ties in Wheel Speed (Outputs) for steering assist adjustments - Electric Power Steering.
There are other systems that use that input as well.
But if you end up replacing all 4 - inspect the encoder (you can see it) when you remove the sensor - Inspect for debris (metal chunks) in the hole, this will trigger the wheel speed sensor faults as well and may be the issue.

I just hate to see anyone throw money away (shot gunning) parts without proper diagnostic.
If you do not have a scan tool -most Auto-Parts stores will scan for free, however not all scan tools will read ABS codes - so its dependent on what level of tool they are using.

I went through this same problem with my truck about a month ago. Took it to the local dealer and they told me they would give me a call when they knew what the problem was. Got a call a couple of hours later. had a code #c0031. Had to do with ABS sensor on the l/f wheel. also said that wheel brg had too much play. They installed a new hub assy and road tested it . Light came on again. Retested and the same code came up. A new L/F speed sensor later and my Ranger is like new. Have to admit, I'm glad I had the Ford ESP. All I had to pay was my deductible.

I would question the quality of two wheel speed sensors for $26. You should purchase Ford OEM sensors and replace the 2 rear ones that you got on Amazon.

@seasprite literally beat me - I just started typing and he posted.

Yes - Forscan is a Great piece of software and its only limitations is ease of displaying Live PID data and what PID data is available and the non-availability of Bi-Directional Control & Active Tests.
Limited to Fords - Only as well, but its main function is to change (As-Built) data.
For the price of nearly free - this is an incredible piece of software for this function alone.

So, for a multi-vehicle tool it depends on your budget and what level of functionality you want, I suggest checking out - Innova Scan Tools as a (Starter) tool and these can be found at most auto parts stores and start with the cheapest and move up the price range to note each level of functionality you gain.

I cannot speak for the lower end tools outside of Forscan as I have 3 High-End scanners now.
Auel, Top-Don and Snap-On ranging between $1500 and $5000 all great tools but all also have subscription fees to keep them updated.
So even at this price point - not all scan tools will do (EVERTHING) that the Ford Factory Scan Software (FDRS)
Other Popular (Brands) for Scan Tools (Mid to High Level) are:
