It's around $80 for a full synthetic oil change and "multi-point inspection" here.

I go to Wally World. Buy Mobil 1 and a motorcraft filter for less than $50. Then go home and do it myself. But, I am a self proclaimed cheap ass, too.

I take mine to a place called "Grumpys Garage". An older establishment but a full syn and filter change only runs around $40-$45 bucks.
And, they give you a free beer when their done !!!

Is this a quick lane change or a regular mechanic doing the work? for 130.

wondering if there is a difference in the charges . . . I can't find a price list on the local ford dealers website.

:-/

Just random thought over coffee this morning.

I will be right behind you after one more dealer change. Being able to save $60 to $80, I will gladly do it my self.

I stopped going to my dealer when they told me that I had to pay $35 extra for a tire rotation. Because it was no longer part of The Works. And I'm walking distance to my mechanic. I think I paid $85 for my last oil change. I gave them a poor review. Ford in return gave my 3 months of XM. I never used it.

I had the privilege of changing my own oil a million times in my younger days. It’s less than a hundred bucks around here and well worth saving my back so I can screw it up on something I enjoy doing.
If the dealer would properly R&R my skid plates I would take it to them. . .

The oil changes on these trucks are the easiest I've ever done. With a fumoto drain and removable wheel well plugs I don't even have to jack it up. I like the little drain pan under the oil filter too.

Dropping off/picking up at the dealer and waiting a day is more work. Even if it were free I don't want cheapo "blended" oil. WTH.

Just for reference, my last Works package with full synthetic was around $117.00 here in the STL. Last April. I'm due again in a few weeks and hope it hasn't gone up too much.

A big YES !!!
Fumoto and getting rid of the plastic hold clips (I replaced mine and use some magnets to hold the flap) makes it a 20 minute job...10 of those minutes to let old oil completely drain.
$40-$45 depending on if oil is on sale at Wally World.

That's what I just paid a few days ago for mine , dealer told me oil change "starts at about $85 " ... I would have almost let them done it had they made a better impression on me , them damn fasteners is the only real pain ...plus, with the comically overdone factory rake , I can wiggle in there pretty easy if I go in from the rear , without even jacking!(yes, I herd it there at the end , just a coincidence... or Freudian slip perhaps ?)
