You're misunderstanding. At 200F+ have we come up with any rules of thumb for how MUCH to add to move half a number or a full number up the stick in relation to a quart of ULV?
I don't think anyone's actually done a scientific measurement...yet...

Couple quarts inbound, when they get here I'll do one with photos. Where it started. Then I'll do maybe 1/4 quart increments and drive around a bit and check again and see how much that moves the level.

Cause science. That and I need to get a supply built up for the PPE pan install.

For years it was a broad range, about 3/4"-1" was the crosshatch area that you would not add if in that range.

Now with the shorter stick the range has narrowed to 4-5 which is .313" of an inch area.

So it still is a range, it is less than the old dipstick range, but still within a range.

My truck was almost 3 quarts low, (might explain why the trans is acting up now)

I've got the Fitzstick, and have swapped the factory pan for the higher-capacity PPE one. In all the different measuring / draining / filling I've done, I can say with some confidence that the difference between 4 and 5 on the stick at operating temperature is *not* much. Maybe 1/2 quart, if that.

Finally installed mine. It was a breeze. This is a really nice quality piece.

So I checked it cold and I was at 3. The install video guy had his at 1. So when I get a chance I'll do a drive and check hot but I hope I'm not low from the factory....

Don't try to go by the cold number after it's been sitting, it can vary, check it hot, add as needed.

Glad it was a breeze? Thank you very much!

Can I also be added to the list. I live in Canada but can figure out ways to get it shipped to MT if that’s too much of a hassle.
It should not be a problem shipping to Canada?

I'm as happy as can be. Mine came in today. Weather is crap but I don't care. Mike has outdone himself on this bad boy. Packaging was superb. Very finite details. All items taped in place.
If any of you are hesitant about it, don't be. You will not purchase anything else that didn't have as much thought and care go into a package. Mike, you are a scholar.
Thank you, sincerely.
