Edit: I think the u0249 has cleared as my tuner seemed loose on the obd and when I reconnected that code left. ?‍♂️
My first post may have been a little confusing and wanted to make sure you captured the part where I did have the p0299 code as well and the second code was the u0429. My truck...
Got this code this evening coming home from dinner date. Guess I’ll get it in garage in the morning. Only had 1psi boost and also got code U0429 which I think is just telling me hey you have some sort of communication issue.
Couldn’t imagine how that would even be fun to put on. When I replaced my alternator a few months ago it had me madder than hornets. Worst gosh dang location, design, setup I’ve ever seen. Damn I was pissed trying to get it back in there.
I posted up about it several months back. Don’t recommend. Thought i sent the second one back or threw it away. Ran across it the other day in the shed. I couldnt get either to stop leaking.
the truck had 2” pucks on it when I bought it. It was time for new shocks when I got it and finally went with the 5100’s. i believe the two choices I was back and forth on was the 2.5” or the 1.8” that I ultimately went with. It turned out well for me on the rake but others may differ. As for...
My 5100’s set at 1.8” gave it a very close setting as the 2” spacers on the top shock mounts. Truck still rides like a tank though but I deal. Looks tons better than the stock rake.
I swore the strut housing unit is angled Or have to be aligned. I fought with mine as well and had to take it all back apart. Maybe I wasn’t holding my tongue right but it went together fine the second time.
Zero chances I’m giving up that taco for a maverick. That tacos going another 25 years. That maverick won’t go 15. Get the maverick if you want it but you’ll regret letting that taco go for it.
