Well it has been fun but I traded my 2020 XLT FX4 in for a 2023 Ford Escape ST-Line Select AWD today. It was nice meeting fellow Ranger owners and I learned quite a bit on this forum. I also hope that I was able to help others along the way.

As much as I love the Ranger, it was getting harder for my wife and I to get in and out of since we are both disabled. Plus I really didn't use the truck for truck things nor went off roading with it. And added bonus for the Escape is that it is easier to get in and out of plus it gets way better gas mileage.

I might stop pop in from time to time.

Here is a photo of my Escape.

Good luck with your Escape! Stop by every now and then and give us a road report!
I sure will.

I reset the trip odometer pulling out of the dealership and was seeing up to 39 MPG at 72 mph on the interstate on the way home. It was a 60 mile drive. Now when I got to the last 20 miles which is hilly curvy backroads, I put the transmission into sport mode and had some fun in the twisty's. I can say the Escape handles great. The overall MPG dropped to 31 MPG for the entire trip.

The Escape is easier to get in and out of, gets great fuel mileage and I was able to lower my monthly payments by quite a bit. The dealership did me good on the trade in value.

That's great to hear! The wife's Escape handles well too....I get 'sporty' with it and the wife gives me that look!

Tracy,

Just to let you know, my Escape has both front and rear parking assist sensors so I don't have to worry about parking crooked. ? ? ? ? ?

And you know I am only messing with you in fun. :like:

All the sensors in the world probably wouldn’t help me park straight.:frown: It’s hopeless.?

I have had two escapes. A 2015 and a 2019. Loved then both. Sold them both when we bought the Ranger and edge that we have now. It will take good care of you both.

Nice move. Escape will be much easier for entry/exit. Best of luck with the new ride!
