I got my icon rear springs and wanted to ask if anyone has them how many springs are assembled with out the loose add a leaf. There are 7 springs on these part number 198520 and the picture on there web sight looks like only five but its hard to see the picture. looking for a better ride with less rocking and less bouncing.. I already replaced the shocks and it improved some and also be able to load more weight in the bed without dragging the bumper on the ground.. I put this here instead of in the suspension forum as there are way more views here..

I have the ICON spring pack installed as shipped / option 1 / six leaves .... with a full tank of gas , and about 100 lbs of tonneau cover and swing box full of tools, they added .75" of lift....it takes about 300 lbs in the bed to get them to the published 3/8" of lift height...with my 3.0" of front lift I still have about 1/2" of rake...
Pictures at full droop and parked on a slight incline....

I dont use the helper spring, just the 6 in the stack, will raise the back about .5 of an inch, but 1st 30% of travel much smoother, and the side to side moment of axle will decrease and feel more planted, love the springs.. if you put more than 300 pounds of racks and ladders, or tow heavy trailers add the helper..

I have the Icons and I ran them in option 1 for awhile. They were great riding, but when I put the RTT (I used to install and uninstall for each trip) the end would sag quite a bit. I added the leaf and its kept the ride level with a rack, RTT, and Decked drawers fairly full. The ride is still really good, but I don't get any sag with the tent.

I have been toying with the idea of the BDS 1" lift shackles too, to gain my rake back.

Forgot to ask what are you replacing the stock bumper with. Seems to be a few different ones or are the original ones good?

I have the Icons using option 2 started with option 3, because I am carrying about 600lbs. Was way to high so went back to the 2nd option perfect setting and a great ride. Also using the Fox 2.5 shocks front and rear at factory settings about 2.5 inches to level.
For the rear bumper I have the Road Armor rear winch model. Liked the style, because it somewhat matches the Rough Country front bumper I have. Seems really good quality on the welds and manufacturing. Have not used the tow points yet, but I think they will be ok if needed. Did not install winch decided against that did not want the extra weight was getting heavy enough with all the other added items and gear.

Assuming that you were asking about Bump Stops....I have the ICON universal foam bump stops....Frank at Stage3motorsports recommend these when using a longer stroke shock made to accommodate 1.0" lifts
Also make sure you use the ICON hardware kit , longer, larger diameter U-bolts with top hanger block...bottom you will reuse the OEM axle clamp....

I’ve got the Icons installed with option 3 (all the leafs). It brought the rear of my Ranger back up to stock height even with a topper, rack, and drawer system in the bed.

Hey guys that have the icon rear springs, did you install the shim wedge package that Fords TSB did? Also what was the time to do the whole job of the spring replacement. Going to try to get it done this week.
ā€˜Thanks

Both foam stock is larger reducing travel by an 1ā€ to 1- 1/4ā€.

I re-installed the shims also. The entire job took about 1-2 hours I did have help from a buddy though. Might take a little longer alone.

Yeah, it took me probably 3 hours to get the whole process wrapped up by myself. That's hand tools and jack stands.
