We should be doing this for superduty trucks that get broed out with diesel engines that are fx4s or tremors with 15 inch drop hitches that make departure angles completely useless and off road and stuff. Not someone who makes the truck better!!

We. Eed to bash this type of useless truck!

I can't say much about non-functional trucks. The closest thing to offroading mine has or will ever see is to get slightly off a dirt trail so I can unload camping gear and then drive it back to a grass parking area. I also have a 2wd and got a truck because the wife got obsessed with plants/yard projects and I like being able to move things around NOT in the hatch. Some things just dont need to be in the car with you. I tried that with the kids and got in trouble. Wife was .. pissed. I remember riding in the back of a truck all the way to the beach as a kid. Ahhh the good ole days.

Note: As I have a weird twitch that happens around 2 years of car ownership I have been looking at a 4wd Ranger to replace the 2wd I have now - that isn't black. Holy hell I spend a lot of time washing this thing. Maybe an XLT cactus grey tremor that was well taken care off will appear for sale in resonable driving distance from me. Then I need to find out how much swapping the tuner over will be... (I just found a black one - it's freaking dirty in the pics with 283 miles on it...)

In more off-topic news I am getting a new freezer tomorrow. My old one died. Wonderful random way/reason to need to spend a grand. That could have been my trans pan and dipstick...

(ill stop now.. dont ban me)

I found an orange one with about the same miles and they changed the oil at the same interval I did/do. Decent price unless they are hiding something.

If I vanish from thforums that means I made the deal work... then the wife killed me when she noticed the truck wasn't black anymore.. said tremor on the side and has a set of half shafts on the front.

Everything else is already upgraded.

S&B CAI
Mountune FMIC and Piping
Turbosmart BOV
CVF Downpipe
MBRP exhaust
1 step colder plugs
J&L OCC
5 Star E50 tune (93/E30 as well)

Basically all I can do prior to turbo upgrade has been done.
My fuel injector duty has not been maxed out yet, they can handle more CFM from a bigger turbo.

Well, warranties are void IF they can prove your modification caused the issue you're experiencing.
All mods would be removed and put back to factory in the case I need to take it in.
LOL if you bring your truck in with all those mods and a bigger turbo Ford will laugh at your warranty.

I when with the stage 3 turbo upgrade and I am using 5star base tune. Till we finish my custom tune with full bolt ons running pump gas. It was pretty straight forward in the process of upgrading my turbo.

He probably got tired of all the nay sayers on here and went to a forum that's not overrun with them like this place. Because all you get on this forum is. If you opened the hood on your truck you lost your warranty. Rant over.
I'm pretty sure nothing you posted is actual reality considering most of us run the voided warranty risk before our trucks even had 5,000 miles on the ODO.

I've probably voided the warranty on everything on my truck but the windshield wipers.

It is probably not the greatest character trait either to accuse a business of being a "stealership" while openly advocating for trying to rip them off by theft through deception.

I imagine just running E30 voids the warranty even on a stock tune.

Has anyone here upgraded their turbo to the CR stage 3 or stage 4? If so I have a few questions.
(currently FBO E50 tune by 5* making decent power)
1. Has it been reliable? (still running) lol
2. What kind of power are you making and would consider safe?
3. Did you regret it or happy with the decision?
4. How is the boost lag over Stock?
5. Not important, But how is fuel economy over mixed fuel? would like bigger turbo tuned to 93 rather than always calculating E-mixtures..lol
6. Was additional fuel need over stock capabilities for low boost?

It was pretty straight forward in the process of upgrading my turbo. You asked quite a few questions so lets start with the first few. Reliable - so far yes and the power feels exactly the same below 3000 rpm after that it keeps pulling till redline. Dyno - haven't put it on one since I upgraded the turbo but over the 400 mark fueling issues have come up. Like most upgrading do one thing then another comes about.

My primary concern is the stock transmission with the added power. I have every bolt-on, minus the turbo. It runs faster, shifts better, but I'm worried since the stock power seems to wreck these things above 50k (several I've seen) or even more commonly, around 90-100k.

Since our platform came out around the quarantine, it seems like all the possible parts manufacturers dropped us like a hot turd. Sad.

That was one of my concerns so at 30k I upgraded transmission cover to hold more fluid and better cooling while as the differential. I'm at 72k now and had the transmission maintenance at 65k all was good but I have heard of people not being so lucky. That's the price you pay when you start modifying any vehicle. But before you upgrade the turbo consider how you drive cause if you like 40 to 60 WOT or low speed desert runs then stock is perfect but if you like to ring it out to 80 or 100. Go with the upgrade turbo at WOT 80 to 100 hits like your going 40. Hope that helps with your decision cause other an the stage 4 turbo and e85 I have done and try everything for the ranger in upgrade some work but others just look nice.

Shame your thread went to shit about warranties when that was literally never in the first post to begin with... However I've been tossing around the idea of a Stage3/4 or a Pure600 turbo for my truck... It's FBO (intercooler, intake, dp, exhaust, etc) currently and tuned on full E85 but as awesome as the E85 is over 93 and even E50, The stock turbo still lays over up top... Guess I'm use to my 4cyls making 900+whp and revving 10,000rpm ?
