Red Line Synthetic Oil. WaterWetter® It works—I’ve been using it in all my vehicles for 15 years now. I don’t fully understand the science behind it, but I know it’s effective. On the rice rockets I’ve owned, which get driven hard on track days, I noticed faster cooldowns between runs with it...
OP, you're definitely on the right track. Personally, I've never experienced limp mode while towing, and I pull 7,000 lbs every weekend for 60 miles in the Adirondacks of NY. My elevation change is just under 3,000 ft, and I keep my speed below 70 mph, usually setting cruise control at 60. NYS...
Follow the advice from above and you will be fine I run a 5x8 6hrs (each way) to my camp in PA 4 times a year. My additional advice is to make sure you leave enough room to brake in front of you due to the added weight of trailer. Safe Travels.
I have already spoken to Mr. Voss his vehicle does not qualify for the TSB it was not the issue with the truck. As you know, per Ford guidelines you cannot do a TSB unless the vehicle qualifies for it. Mr. Voss states that his vehicle is fixed and running fine there is no reason to bring it back...
My main question would be have you driven the other 21 Ranger, the F150 and 6g Ranger (10r60) will have a shift strategy that is not the same, just my 2 cents? If it was mine I would consider a second opinion and make certain that the test for TSB 25-2134 is followed to determine if CDF is a...
I tow 7000lbs every weekend, I will say a brake controller is a must (I'm running the redarc myself) a wdh is a help for sure but not a requirement just be aware of tongue weight max for your hitch is 750lbs. Air springs can be of good benefit I have them when loaded I run 10 psi in them rides...
I tow close to 7000lbs every weekend 40 miles even in winter no changes from summer other than winter tires for the truck. I also use a 7x16 enclosed trailer as well never had an issue with it, but trailer brakes are key imo.
Last night I stopped to clear a tree for my neighbor and in 10mins truck was covered again, currently have over 4 feet of snow in Cny been a heck of a start to 2025!!! and yes that is the normal road conditions.
