One thing to try is to just make sure when connecting in FORScan that you use a new profile. Stored profiles don't upgrade well and sometimes just don't work.
Only push one time on the fob lock button. No honk and still locks.
You don't need to double-click your lock button to arm the alarm. Otherwise locking with the doors inside when you get out wouldn't do it either. And it does.
That was true in the '00s. Back in the old days of alarms. It hasn't been true in a LONG time for most vehicles.
I gave you the correct answer. You can choose to ignore it if you want to. It does arm the alarm with one press of the lock button on the fob.
Thank you, as least you gave me a clarification of how it works on these trucks, but it's just a habit of hitting it twice. I was told long ago, that if something came with keyless entry, you had to hit it twice to arm it, but things have evolved a ton since then. Yesterday morning at work, I hit it twice and there's no longer a "beep" at all now... Same thing when I got home too. Sounds like a relay is clicking though, so maybe that's the issue? Horn still works fine from the steering wheel and panic mode though...
You can see them in the truck. It's under the driver assist screen, you'll scroll through and see tire pressure.
