I looked around my bed area; Under the rails and what not. No clue as to what that part is.
Might be a random left over from the factory production.
That was the sole purpose of this thread. Remember when we all looked under our trucks at the rocker panel holes; then we checked to see if our spark plug wells were filling up with water; checked to see if our leaf springs were bent; checked to see if the rubber bumpers were missing in our hoods; tested our battery voltage over and over; checked to see if all our tires matched (my thread :))...

Not gonna lie, I did check my tires because of that thread. Mostly out of "Surely ford couldn't fuck even this up, could they?" types of thoughts.

Hilux, Ranger, Landcruiser,
it must have been part of something with a worthwhile purpose for ford to not only brand the part with a logo but put an id # on it.
That ID is a plastics identifier.
A recycle code in other words. PA66 being one of the forms of nylon.
Btw.
While it should be obvious.
Loads of people mistake that as a part number. Especially when the ">PA66<" is followed up like this common example >PA66 GF30<.
The "GF30" indicates 30% glass fiber is blended in.
