@Kristina - from my limited time on these forums I have seen your truck get dirty. Did the dealer say this was caused by external damage?
Warranty. Parts are not one to one same anymore compared to what were removed. New turbo cooler should last.

Yes, it gets dirty but not damaged ;)

Dirty like a hard working Ranger, and even harder-working Ranger owner, should get! =)

Interesting! I know you are running a different intercooler in the diesel than I am in my US petrol model, but I am fascinated with "mechanical modes of failure."

Thanks for your answer.

Hose was cracked, water got in, turbo cooler didn’t work as supposed to.

Took the TracVac full of leaves and a pile of old bushes I ripped out to the local yard waste drop-off. That's 12 loads this Fall. ?
71k miles and the Ranger is earning its keep. Almost ready for a new set of tires. LOL

The lettering on my tailgate popped out when I removed my tailgate damper. Just kidding, optical illusion.

Looking at the bumper in daylight, I’m pretty sure I can pull it back into shape. My truck gets used and abused, so I’m not too worried about it.
My passenger side bumper got hit. It was crooked compared to the other side. Nothing a come-along didnt fix. Yes they are steel bumpers but very thin little tiny tiny steel

Called the dealer yesterday, they diagnosed and fixed today. Impressive.
I’m glad this worked out so well and so quickly Kristina. ??

That is exactly what I plan to do. If I'm really motivated, I'll pop the right side off and try to get the light crease out of it too.

Did a little prepper prepping. Picked up these food grade barrels for emergency water storage. Also a non electronic/electrical hand pump.

That type of pump, in my experience, is prone to vanes sticking in rotor from rust. Hope your experience is better than mine.

I put my barrells up on a couple concrete blocks and installed a hose bib near the bottom. . . let gravity do the work for me. . . and requires no maintenance, and if you have to replace it they are everywhere. and if SHTF every house has at least 1 on the outside of their home...

also makes draining and cleaning easy - hook a hose up and drain it into the garden.

Just a thought for future system improvements :)
