You’re right about one thing.

Something is flawed…your argument.
that's my thought. when I bought my travel trailer, the guy was towing it with a full size dodge ram 1500.

I also bought his WDH setup. we figured it would need adjustments but damn, we took it off his truck and slide it into the ranger and I haven't changed anything. Which means the receiver height, and setup of a mid sized ranger is queal to a full sized R

No.
If they engineered it just like the Toyota and Nissan, then it would be just another Toyota and Nissan. The G5 Rangers are BIGGER in every dimension than the 80's and 90's F-150. But trucks have changed and the Ranger was marketed for people who like the bigger trucks but were leaving Ford for Nissan and Toyota. So if you don't want a gargantuan F-150, you can have a Ranger. Better MPG, and easier to park - but everybit as capable for the weekend warrior who needs an occasional truck not a full duty service truck.
and that's why I bough a Ranger.

Also notice how all rangers can ow 7500lbs and everyone else is working thei next gen to beat that just as easily as the ranger does.

not you can tow that if you get it with this optional engine (hard to find) and this optional rear end that is standard but never installed, and this tow package,

nope every ranger gives you 7500 pounds towing and 700+ pounds of payload (max payload - tongue weight = active payload (including passengers) (the plus sign is lariets and certian trim packaes have less over all payload ability. )

This is one of the more bizarre complaints I've read on this site and that's really saying something.
Correction, this is comedy gold!

1. he probably asks for conventional oil when he goes to jiffy lube to get his oil changed

2. wishes his damper went slower to waste more time

3. probably Ranger Pride's alter ego

The rear of the ranger is too high, I agree with OP.
I saw a '14 or so f150 driving next to a ranger and the ranger was taller.

You shouldn't need to get INTO the bed to get things out.

When I was looking at a 5th gen I priced out the lowering kit and was ready to order it as soon as I found one I was going to buy. 2/4 drop from what the ranger is stock, is exactly the height a "midsize" truck should be.

I definitely like the higher sides. With my hard cover on, I have tons of room to put some big things in and keep them dry.

Yea same. It nice to be able to put taller stuff in and not have the cover open.
I actually look at a plus. Some do not like it and I get that too..

I do think the rake is way to much.

I don't have my ranger yet, but I hope the ranger has the dimmer switch on the floor.
I keep getting my feet tangled up in my steering wheel on my current car. Now that's a design flaw!

I'm all if 5'7"ish and yeah, it's high for me but so is the top shelf. I will concede that getting myself hoisted into the back requires more effort but I'm going to blame that on being the correct weight if I was 7'10".

Although you lose some width, step side beds solved this issue. i think some chebbies come with a step on the side without losing width.

I can put a 20lbs propane tank in the back; standing, with inches to spare,.. and close my tonneau. With my '11 Tacoma, the bed depth was too low, and the tonneau had to stay open.
