The ranger is the sacrificial model to help boost profits for bronco and f150 .. I’m sure ford would much rather sell you a bronco or f150 for the higher profit margin than a ranger .. it’ll be very interesting how the next gen ranger production will go if the chip shortage doesn’t get any better

I went by a local dealer on Monday and they had 8 F150s with a RAPTOR that had a $50,000 markup ???
Got an oil change at my local dealership last week. Town of 45k, but on the edge of the Denver metro.

5 used TRXs and 7 used Raptors in the corner. Every one marked at over $100k.

Ridiculous.

My dealer has reduced the asking price on my 2019 XLT 302 Luxury pack with 11K miles on it. That was a surprise seeing that. But Bronco's and F150's are soaring.

They're finally realizing it doesn't do them any good just sitting there. lol Better to lower the price to something more realistic and move it off the lot. Again if people would stop paying these crazy markups the dealers would be forced to lower their prices.

The dealer in Las Vegas I bought from only has 2 on the lot (4x4) but they are listed at MSRP.
That's at least acceptable. I've never paid msrp but in these times at least there's no crazy markups.

The worst side effect of the pandemic was governments and business knee jerk reactions that we are all going to be suffering from for a long time to come, MSRP looks to me as acceptable.
I can sell my Transit this afternoon for $10,000 more than I paid for it in 2017.
The New Normal is weird for us Boomers.
