I always thought of that as a software glitch. My wife's Corsair did it frequently but that thing had quite a few issues with electronics. I haven't had that happen with the Ranger (yet).
Awesome pictures guys and thanks for the Grate Lakes views and trivia! Living in the southeast, we don't get much of that so I've thoroughly enjoyed it. We live in a great country/continent.
Thank you, Phil, for the role you played in making the Ford Ranger what it is - a joy to own! Thank you for the wealth of knowledge and information on the forum that is invaluable.
All the best and I hope we see you occasionally.
I don't see how Sync 4 along with a bigger LCD justifies the increase in prices. That's what annoys me about Ford. They raise prices almost quarterly. Prices are insane.
Just waiting for the day GM comes knocking on your door. You're probably the first to mod the next-gen Colorado to this extent. Who knows, they might pay you as a consultant!
You should have a YouTube channel recording each modification you make.
I wonder how much Ford is charging for that if it isn't standard equipment. It's a quarter the size of the 5th gen cover. By Ford logic That means it's likely to cost at least $1,000.
I usually keep the key in the truck and use the number pad to get back in. I stopped doing that just this week since my battery decided to go dead without notice. I hate having the key in my pocket.
I see it this way...
CEO calls in his executives, slams his fist on the table, DEMANDING cost savings...
Executives call in their subordinates, slams his fist on the table, DEMANDING cost savings...
Subordinates call in the engineers of their respective departments, slams his fist on the table...
