Not sure that’s what I’d post … but thanks for the idea.
My idea was about ROUSH tuners, or ROUSH branded things …

As mentioned before … mustangs and f150’s were ROUSH too. Never got this bad of credit. Weird.
Well if it makes it any better, I think the idea of a Tremor sub-section is silly as well. That is just a cheaper mostly cosmetic package as well.

We already have to sometimes post in wrong sub-sections simply because traffic is so sparse compared to main areas. Like if I have an electrical question I'll get more eyes in the General Forum then the actual electrical section...

Appreciate the sarcasm. I speak it too. But why do tremor and raptors get it.. and everyone wants to take poo poo in ROUSH cereal ?
I don't think tremors need one either. At most, maybe sub section under the suspension forum. As for Raptor, I don't honestly know enough about them to have much of an opinion.

I don't even know why we have a Raptor sub-section as I believe this website is US orientated? Not that I mind foreign members, but I am assuming based on traffic on that sub-section, they have an actual local (country) based forum for their Rangers.

Not necessarily crumbling. But we have a tremor and Raptor version that don’t equate to a off the lot Ranger …

I am a new guy and have posted quite a bit about my truck but get all kinds of responses that don’t equate to what I’m asking. Or most people on here don’t know what comes on an RTR, ROUSH or even tremor and Raptor.

Just thought I’d ask .. or even if us ROUSH guys wanna share easy or hard mods. It’s something we can just go to… or if we wanna do a “build thread.”

just an idea. Still love the basic general forum and will more than likely still spend most of my time here ??
I’d visit it. After all, I do have that whole Roush Ranger starter kit thing going on. ?

Raptor has the 2.0 diesel which I think justifies having its own section.

Roush, RTR, and Tremor are all great looking trucks, I'd love to see a dedicated photo/build thread for each. I just don't think any of them need their own subforums, there are too many subforums as it is IMO.

@AzScorpion Dave, can we get a dampered Ranger section?
It would be open to Roush, Tremor, Raptor, XL... just not the non-dampered Ranger owners. ?

I would KJ but think about it, this whole forum is a damper section. ?

I don't have the tools to do this but I can see if the Admin will create one.
Well that put a damper on the conversation Dave.... See what I did there? ?????

I can't help but to use this GIF whenever I can... but also is there really that many Roush rangers on here to where it’s needed?

We didn't separate XL, XLT and Lariat did we?
If it keeps going this way, it feels like the family is broken up, with the kids playing Xbox in their rooms, dad watching football in the basement, and mom in the kitchen. The family structure is crumbling
It's like are you an AR guy, a pistol guy, or a shotgun guy or all of the above.....I built my Ranger as a "ONE OFF"....which it is, can we get a "CUSTOM" forum too....lol (like opening a can of invertebrates I tell ya)
Ya know....if the Roush folks and the Tremor folks feel like they need some special attention then by golly they should get it! Just make sure you put $$$$ by name.....;)

They could call the new forum, "I paid $13,000 to get smoked by other Rangers with $450 tuner".

Really this thread is not helping the stereotype of Roush Ranger owners.
Lol…..unfortunately, I can only guess as to how “stereotypical” Roush owners are perceived. Apparently I haven’t been around long enough to realize that there’s a “mold” I’m likely to fit…..and that my truck purchase says something about my character.

I don’t mean to sound antagonistic, but I’d be curious to hear exactly what traits stereotypical Roush owners are thought to have in common.

Lol, and If any of them apply to me….I’ll be honest and fess up to it.

I, for one, enjoy hearing from Raptor and Ranger owners from other countries. This is a Ranger forum and we can learn much from each other even if some things are different. :)

This.

I get that sub-sections exist for a reason. However they only work when the traffic justifies it.

Stereotypes are not absolute, just a general rule of thumb based in some truth.

But the sentiment I've seen is that the Roush Package is a $13,000+ price tag for nothing more than a claim of prestige. A limited run of a mostly appearance packaged Ranger.

What would a Roush sub-forum be? A limited user prestige forum.

And thus the stereotype is self full-filling.

There is a whole sub-topic on what you could do to a Ranger with $13,000 (the before mentioned $450 tuner alone drops the Roush to the bottom of the performance list), but that would be a side-bar conversation.

Its your truck, enjoy it. Your money, enjoy it.
