Hey Folks
I have a set of 5g Ranger stock Lariat Wheels I would like to sell. Needs to be someone close enough to pick them up from me. I live in Windsor Colorado but commute to the Denver metro daily. Looking for $600 or best offer on these wheels. I will throw in a stock Lariat grill if you...
Folks....I have been running this catch can since 20K and I am at 104K now......it operates flawlessly, lines are still in great shape. Easy to unscrew and empty or you can install a petcock to drain if you want. All for the excellent price of around $200 + 5% off. Just because Ford makes...
I never tow and don't even have a bed liner....so no added weight in the rear. However, I do have a leveling kit on mine that I installed at about 20K and I've been running 1.5 inch wheel spacers since 20K also. Maybe one or the combination of both are what this is about. Very weird though...
I don't have the adaptive cruise and I have only used the cruise control on a trip to Texas last summer. I don't usually use cruise, even commuting the 53 miles to work everyday....too much traffic!
Finally had to do a brake service on the Ranger at 103.5K. So the only reason I am posting this is the fact that my front brakes are still at 70% pad life and my rears were at 10%. I left the front alone for right now, did the rear and had the system flushed......wow....I would have never...
Well I guess my name is Karen cuz I'm a hillbilly that loves my new SC.....lol
I be the Karen smoking by you on the highway.....and waving to ya....
BTW...I can adjust my seats just fine....
Definitely not!
I was very interested in the Santa Cruz before all the ridiculousness with chasing down a Maverick. I drove a Maverick with the AWD/2L Ecoboost and it was very comfortable and had great engine response. Having said that, I love my SC and I'm glad I purchased it over a Maverick...
Update:
As happens often with me, after thinking the vehicle situation over very carefully I have decided to keep the Ranger for now. I had a few things happen that did influence my decision.....first one is starting over with a new vehicle registration here in Colorado. Where I come from in...
I've got 4K on the SC already and I can tell you this.....it does not need a tune.
From a standing stop, a stock Ranger will blow my SC away every time I'm sure.....
Now on the highway.....over 60+......your going to have to have a tune in her to out run the SC.....
The 2.5L Turbo engine...
 Can you believe....I am actually thinking about selling my baby.....
I have developed a very bad taste in my mouth for Ford with the new marketing system. Since she is at 103K+ now I'm thinking I want to hit the reset button on something else. I'm liking the Santa Cruz so much that the...
Best bang for the buck is Eibach or Bilstein.....the rest are fairly pricy and unless you are a power 4x4er.....the fore mentioned will serve you well at a reasonable price point....I also have Eibach shocks.
Interesting I've had none of these issues and I'm at 103K....I will tell you this, my brakes are original (2019 model bought in 2/20). I will need to replace my pads soon and I find it strange that the rear brake pads are more worn than the front.....never seen that before in any car I've owned...
I have this silly theory about giving those valve bodies a very hard workout when they are young makes them run smoother.....sounds crazy, with the issues out there, I can't believe mine has been so trouble-free. Now it could crater tomorrow, but that goes for anything. I've never had any issues...
To try and put everyone to ease out there in 10R80 land....I'm working on 102K miles now on my 19' Ranger with no real tranny issues....let me give you a chronology of my life with the Ranger so far...lol.
BTW....I have had the "bump" in the tranny everyone talks about, more than a couple of...
LOL...I think there already a thread on that.....no kidding....lol
I'm keeping my mouth shut over there so I can get all the info I need for the things I would like to do....without becoming locally hated....lol.
