The argument against anti vaccers is they will infect others...hmmm, if the others have been vaccinated, then how will they be infected???
I believe they are referring to what is called "herd immunity". There are some people who cannot be vaccinated (allergies, etc), but as long as a high percentage of the rest of the "herd" (population) is vaccinated, they are protected. If you have too many people who CAN be vaccinated and aren't, then the people who can't are at risk.

We're going fishing in the morning. Went to Walmart to get fishing licenses. Here is a picture of the toilet paper isle.

Y2K..lol That was another panic everyone thought that computers were going to crash and the world was going to end!

I use to talk to all the old timers on the job sites growing up and when just about everyone of them tells you to save your money and pay everything off ASAP I listened to them. It's not a field where you can sit at a desk and work until you're 70 so being self employed the one thing that always scared me was getting hurt and not being able to work and losing my house. I semi retired at 51 but these darn hobbies are expensive and working keeps me in shape and good health so I keep going,I'm just more selective on the jobs I take now. I really need to unsubscribe from all these gun dealers because their email specials are killing me! :curse:
I paid cash for my 2016 Ford Escape and my 2020 Ford Ranger. Thought about paying my house off but decided against it. I have a cheap interest rate and my house payment is small, went ahead and roled the rest back in a new CD, no stocks for me

With all due respect, but listening to CDC and WHO is like getting real financial advice from the Federal Reserve...all NWO deep state owned...
Yes, and we all know who the deep state is after, as well as most of the media. But it's not going to work

Seems to be a reoccurring theme come election year. Over blown now. If immuno compromised then yes serious. If not, it’s just a flu strain

I hate to say this but I don't remember any of those other illnesses but the media sure is hyping this, l think mostly because of who is President right now.

I got the Ranger at 0% so there was no reason to use my money. Even when I had a mortgage it was a low interest rate but I still wanted to make sure if anything ever happened I wouldn't lose my house. I loved my F 150 but didn't want to live out of it. lol t have a few laddered CD's one which ends in Sept. and a REIT that pays a good monthly divided. :)

And l thank God Trump will be reelected in a landslide and hopefully take the house back with a large majority
When Obama was elected we were in a major recession caused directly by Republican economic policies. When Obama left office the US economy was growing strongly which Draft Dodging Donnie inherited. Then he gave businesses and billionaires a few Trillion dollars in tax breaks which juiced the stock market and gave taxpayers the greatest deficits in history. The tax cuts made the rich richer, but there have been no substantial increases in pay or benefits for worker bees.

Yes, I am a lucky and well off white guy, I retired from the oil industry at age 61, Vietnam veteran, gun owner, life long republican until 2016. And I don't worry too much about the daily swings in the stock market because I keep 3 years of living expenses in cash so I don't have to sell in a down market.

I have high hopes Moscow Mitch and Draft Dodging Donnie will be sitting at home after November. My Schnoodle would be a better president, chew sticks and squeaky toys for everyone!

Where was all of this Chicken Little BS in 2009 with the H1N1 Virus.

From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, the CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths in the United States due to the (H1N1) virus. how many remember that? Not too many because the press was good to Obama.

Let's keep the mudslinging out of this please as there is some good information and it sure would be nice to keep open. While there will be political talk here because of the global implications, can we not let this devolve into a political bashing session?

Thanks.
