LOL, so I'm sitting at the dealership getting an oil change. They just came in and told a guy at minimum they needed to pull and resurface his rotors. He's whining it should be a warranty issue they pay for. Turns out he painted the wheels while they were on the truck and also the rotors, and...
Let's be honest, the AC temp control and folding mirror buttons may be the worst design ever. However all in all it's still the best mid size truck available.
We just bought a new ford for my wife, basically you give up $500 of the ford rebates to get the 0/84 finance deal. Here in Houston you would get a dealer discount of $4k or so on top of the rebates. I would expect to pay around $5-6k off list and get the 0/84 finance.
That's about $5k overpriced around here. Dealer discounts on 2019's are running $4-5k, plus incentives plus 0% financing. You do lose $500 in rebates for the 0% financing though.
A $28k truck around here would have a $3-4k dealer discount in addition to any factory rebates. When I bought my XLT the dealer discount ranged from $2800-4000 for every truck. My wife just bought an Escape 2 weeks ago with a $3k dealer discount on top of rebates.

We've only had it a week but with the 1.5 it seems to have plenty of power, the sight lines out of it are very good and handling seems fine for a mini SUV. My wife likes the seats in the Escape but I personally think the Ranger seats are more comfortable.
Corporations can make more money, and managers can give themselves bigger bonuses if they make more profit. That seems to be the number one goal of Americans these days. If you want to maximize profits at any cost this is what you get. And if society only want to pay the cheapest possible price...
I saw the Orange guy now says if we keep deaths down to 100,000-200,000 he has done a great job.
I know it's tough for working folks, but if you don't keep your health there really is nothing else. Stay safe. My wife has severe rheumatoid arthritis, the drugs she takes completely destroy her...
