No I get it and one reason I stoped riding on the streets. Everyone now is so preoccupied with their darn phones and/or weaving in and out of traffic it wasn't much fun for me anymore. When I first started riding my friend told me you'll have days where you're so tired and drained mentally. At first I didn't know what the heck he was talking about but then it made sense. You're concentrating so much on everyone else and what's around you that it's mentally draining. I still kept my motorcycle license and there are times I wish I still had a bike because we have some really nice areas to ride out here. Maybe one day I'll get another one but it's not high on the list right now.
I'm a little too old and busted up to race now... my last 2 crashes happened at 130 and 140 mph. And the younger people have far less fear than me. I don't ride as much on the street because of the stress of doing so, but I still do anyway just because it's in my blood. 2 wheels for life you know. Heck it runs in the family. Here's my Grandpa on his 1936 Harley. RIP gramps.

Anything on 2 wheels is awesome. Your bike looks great. I myself started out on a 1973 Kawi 3 cyl 2 stroke 350. Rode off & on over the years, biggest bike was a dressed out ' 05 Honda VTX. Now I ride a 2021 Honda PCX scooter. Not nearly as comfy, but still 2 wheels.

Thanks, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’m still fighting the carb tuning a bit but it’s close. It’s actually shockingly comfortable to ride, I wasn’t expecting much as I was going form over function but it’s way better than I hoped.

As long as you have a bike and a vision you’re almost set. Well that and a pocket full of money. A lot of times the fabrication isn’t too extensive and wouldn’t be a crazy amount of money to get someone to do it for you. Once I cut off the whole rear subframe it was nearly limitless how I could have finished the rear of the bike. Then there was just some cleaning up to do on the main part of the frame for aesthetics.
then there’s a ton of blasting, stripping and refinishing.

So here's my recent bike. Definitely the smallest I ever had but it's fun. It's a 2020 Yamaha MT15. So a huge 155cc. I liked that it looks like a bigger bike. But it's just for running around locally here. Just changed air filter and chain today. Also put on a Akropovic exhaust.
