Post up our knives here. Maybe talk about the steel, grind, sheath, use, history or the cost. If it’s sharp and pointy and used to cut, stab or protect you share them here.

I have mostly mass produced knives like Spyderco. But once in a while a custom finds it’s way to me.

This is a Kwaiken by Phillip Patton. The steel is AEB-L stainless, hollow grind for the blade, holographic green stingray skin wrapped with para cord that had the fibers removed for reduced bulk. He also made the sheath.

Took less than a month after we settled on the specs for handle and blade length. Cost is about the price of two spyderco para3 knives or one small plane Jane Chris Reeve sebenza.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
A 1975 Scubapro dive knife, has been in saltwater hundreds of times, and no rust, never sharpened and still razor sharp, and the sawtooth back ridge will gut anything (well, maybe not a shark as they are really tough). Bought it in Italy while on a Dive trip to Corsica. 8" blade to the hilt, and a 5" bone handle.

I don't carry anything too impressive. Mostly Spydercos as they are based here in Colorado.

My most heavily used:

Spyderco Delica 4 w/ Emerson Wave Opener

My favorite flipper:

Spyderco Smock w/ detent ball mod

My only "designer steel":

Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight in Maxomet steel

My "church knife":

Spyderco Hanan

My self defense blade:

Spyderco Karahawk

Lastly, my only non Spydie. When I have to run a route at work I leave everything on the truck. I'm not back tracking 220 stops to find a lost wallet, phone, or knife. But I do carry this little guy on my belt just in case.

Glad I pulled them all out to take pictures. I need to spend some time cleaning, tightening, and sharpening most of these.

Looks like I'll be breaking out the Sharpmaker during my football game this morning.

I don’t have anything custom or exotic, but I will share my daily carry. Benchmade 940 Osborne. Great all purpose utility knife.
Threads like this are a good show and tell for others to get an idea of knives they might consider that may never have known about. Benchmade puts out some quality and the 940 is a workhorse.

My 2nd one of these. I've carried a flash 2 for about 8 years now. I don't think they are made anymore. Great knife.

I thought I posted on this thread?
Unless there's a glitch ill just assume I hurt someone's feelings.
Off I go to the cat theft threads I guess, where you're allowed to talk about shooting degenerates
I thought guns in Canada were a no-no. When I visited the Border guards took one look at my Calif plates and tore my RV apart looking for guns they were sure I had because as the female (?) guard stated, 'everyone from Calif has a gun'. I told her no, that would be Texas. Really pissed me off as they put nothing back, left my wife's clothes all over the bed. They were very unprofessional.

I noticed as well. That thread was “Mega knife” and I saw the reply’s. Then the next day it was gone for some reason, the entire thread and reply’s. So then I made this one “Mega blade” and it’s working so far.

Canadian border guards are a waste of resources.
Mall cops have higher stature
From my limited experience you are 100% correct. The woman was a total Bi*ch!, pulled my wife aside and threatened her with jail if they found anything. I don't like to do it but finally had to show my badge and ID to the male member of the good guy/bad guy team, he was cool, and as soon as he saw my ID he called off his partner. We did enjoy Canada after that bad start, except for the prices!!

they are literally tax collectors with attitudes.
they do press releases about stopping illegal pot from entering Canada, where its legal now, and pat themselves on the back, but cant stop illegal handguns from crossing the border.
Treating you like a smuggler because you went grocery shopping across the border is a cool one too.

back to the topic at hand, I've been interested in adding a knife or two. Anyone have experience with CRKT knives? A local gun shop sells them and they look nice.
I kinda like this one

I have a CRKT lockable folding and the release button gets wedged and you have a stick a straight screwdriver in there to release it so I’m not a big fan of those. Might just be an isolated case though.
