I believe that the standard PPE pan holds .75 quart more than the Ford stock pan. Deep pan holds 1.75 quarts more.
You certain of the standard PPE's extra .75 capacity? It would be good to know for sure...

Are you asking if he's "for Imprint certain?"

Standard, raw finish...I also prefer standard so I don't have to gamble with the capacity...I put in what comes out and the level will remain the same...

I'm ordering one tomorrow =)
Standard capacity still adds some over stock. Think ots 3/4 of a quart or so

I remember reading of a member who called PPE for specs. He mentioned that the standard pan held .75 quart more. I did not validate his report.... hence my choice of words "I believe".

I guess the only way to know for sure is to give PPE a call.

There was this exchange a while back
. CtechBob mentioned he called PPE to validate capacity of the standard pan..

Not exactly but it was less than a quart more but not by much. Wifes explorer too a quart more. Her oem pan was smaller. Did them both within a few days. Huge improvement. Mr transmission blowing pioneer, I am shocked you dont already have one.

But if it came with some lights on it….

TBO, I've struggled with spending $300 for a tranny drain plug...but there's seems not be another affordable alternative...

Its so much more than a tranny plug. Better cooling, stronger for impacts from road debris, plastic is an insulator, better case rigidity, and its fun to look at.

Yes, you have a valid point...every time I change my oil, I get to lay under the truck a little longer and admire the shiny new pan...

IIRC the standard PPE pan actually adds a little more than half a quart.

For a few days after I did it, I might have double checked for leaks more than I needed to. Its a nice chunk of aluminum.

Yea, I winced a bit too. But I don't think its too much of a stretch to say it will provide some amount of additional fluid cooling. And that can't hurt with the 10R80.
