Standard or extra capacity depth? When I bought mine the general forum opinion was to stay with standard capacity. So I did.$287.99 free shipping, Amazon...
Standard, raw finish...I also prefer standard so I don't have to gamble with the capacity...I put in what comes out and the level will remain the same...Standard or extra capacity depth? When I bought mine the general forum opinion was to stay with standard capacity. So I did.
When you remove the factory pan pay attention to the nuts that hold the cat converter shield. It is a very thin alum stamping. The nuts are on stud nuts that also retain the pan. A few of my nuts froze to the studs. I powered them off and the stud nuts spun out and mangled the shield. I managed to save the shield, but it was a pain.Standard, raw finish...I also prefer standard so I don't have to gamble with the capacity...I put in what comes out and the level will remain the same...

I was at about 32K miles so I replaced a perfectly good trans filter since it was staring me in the face. I also did the Fitzstick and Lubegard Platinum with new Mercon fluid while the garage floor was a mess.
It is, if it hasn't been re-used before and you're careful removing it...I did it once...for the new PPE pan, I plan to use a new metal framed gasket...Is the pan gasket reusable ?
I believe that the standard PPE pan holds .75 quart more than the Ford stock pan. Deep pan holds 1.75 quarts more.Standard, raw finish...I also prefer standard so I don't have to gamble with the capacity...I put in what comes out and the level will remain the same...
