I’m always leery about former loaners and rentals. Some people beat the crap out of those. But that’s just my thoughts.Well apparently they sold the one I was looking at. They have offered me the exact same truck in blue (which I prefer anyway). It was a service loaner. 1,928 miles. They have come down to 35,785. It also has the factory spray in bedliner and they are going to install the Redarc TowPro Elite in the truck free of charge. Now I don't know what to do.....apparently the bumper to bumper warranty extends to 42 months/42000 miles because of the mileage.
I have never purchased a service loaner before. Have not seen what the truck looks like yet.
$4k down on a base truck? I dont think so Tim. Seems like a really bad deal.I just leased a 2020 Ford Ranger XL Super Crew Sports Package 4x2
4k down including tax license $239 a month 36 months In California.
Well, 3k, but yes you are right, I should have negotiated better. Live and learn.$4k down on a base truck? I dont think so Tim. Seems like a really bad deal.
More like $0 down, you have all the power during these times.
Is that OTD price? What options? What region are you in? Did you have a trade in? That’s a phenomenal price.Got my first Ranger this week. Unreal deal. 2020 XL 4x4 Supercab $30,835 MSRP, got it for $22,900.
Plenty of room for some mods!

To get this you have to do all the Ford deals, including financing the minimum 7500 at their "standard/regular" interest rates. For me at 830 FICO, that was 6% (criminal), but I'm just paying it off in the first payment to avoid that interest. The saving for that program was substantial (don't remember the exact amount), and you can't do the 0% deal.
No, they try to skin you one way or another. To get the huge Ford rebate, you have to take their "standard" financing rates, which are usurious. You can take the 0%, but you give up a HUGE discount. I took the 6% for 30 days on the minimum $7500.Your score doesn't hold any weight if you got 6% with an 830, that is a very weak credit report hiding behind a number.
Either that or the dealership is taking a cut of that.....
6% just doesn't make sense for someone with a legit 830 FICO.No, they try to skin you one way or another. There's nothing weak about my credit score/rating at least AMEX doesn't think so (30 years with them and hold a Centurion card). I own multiple (now) debt-free businesses and know well the financing game. You can't hide bad credit.
