If you bring cash you some of rebates , about half it seems. Believe me Ford/dealership is not going to lose money here. Exactly why there is still lots of 19s on lots. Informed consumers who want to buy and don’t have to will just wait.

Without seeing window sticker that is way too much. I was given quoteS for XL supercab 2wd any where from 21k -26k OTD. Again, I don’t know what options yours has but 4wd can be had at that price point in my region. Congratulations on new purchase!

It’s great that you are fairly open and honest but unfortunately the car industry at the Macro level has a poor reputation overall. Is it all justified? That’s subject to interpretation. You bring up capitalism. In a capitalist society those with more money, access and privilege win more times...

Some of what you stated is true however some dealerships have a different pricing method and that’s where things get complicated. Some will bend the rules and give you everything with your own financing and some will “ lower” prices. Then they add a bunch of fees on it. See my previous post...

By some of the prices i have seen on forum and in person, I think 28k-33k is not unreasonable, but it’s going to depend on what other options dealer has tacked on also. I like you am a very particular buyer and don’t want all those extra options.

4wd is a 4K option so it’s hard to compare a 2wd to a 4wd.
