You’re closer than you think! ?

“Extend the range of your Long-Range Remote Start Key Fob to up to 2,500 feet!”

What's the range once you install it?
I thought it was 300' with the regular key fob, but when I checked the owners manual for the perimeter plus, all it mentions is the range for the dedicated remote start transmitter. Which was 1000' or 2500' depending on the transmitter you get.

So I guess my answer is I don't know

Tremor takeoffs purchased from another member are back from Fox after service ?
Does the motto "We're never done" refer to the Fox company, because I think that applies to Ranger owners too.

Not sure why your only getting 30 ft of range, remote started mine today from inside the restaurant we were in and the truck was at least 100 ft away.

Are you using the basic remote start with your key fob (lock, unlock, lock)?
I have noticed the Truck will acknowledge the lock function farther out than the unlock.

Normal range for the FOB is approximately (30 Meters) or (100 Feet) to the RTM (Antenna)
Now
Passive Entry - For the (Lariat) door handles / starting (Fob Detection) is approximately (3 Feet) from any PATS antenna.

The service manuals are not clear on this, but Range differs when you have remote start if you do not have remote start this (per the Owner's Manual) drops to 30 Feet which makes sense as all you are doing is (Lock/Unlock) features etc.

Probably the reason I'm only reaching 30'. So I'm hoping to at least get to a 100' after reading your info airline tech.
